The food is very good here, even the salads! If something is wrong, the manager will correct it. Service is usually quite good as well. Recommended.
Great food. I travel from Chicago to Cincinnati a couple times a month for work, and I stumbled upon this little gem a little while ago. They have fantastic food and unheard of prices. I had a lunch there for $4.99. A few weeks later a co-worker was traveling with me and we stopped and had dinner they had all you could eat ribs. They were fantastic, probably the best restaurant ribs I've had in ages. And it was only like $12 or $13. To beat that are the drink specials $0.75 beer!!!!! I actually stayed in Shelbyville one night so I could enjoy the food and drink, instead of always passing through.
It is great food, and like I said unheard of prices. Wasn't expecting this the first time I dined, but I'm sure glad I did.
First time at Texas Corral on the suggestion of my father-in-law the staff was friendly, and the service was great.
The drinks came in HUGE mason jars the steaks were delicious as was the fajitas.
Stopped here for dinner, we were a little early for dinner so they weren't too busy. Very quick and friendly service, and our steaks were great! They were very tender, and had great flavor! We did order medium, and they might have been just a tiny bit more well done then that, but still really good! My portion of broccoli was big, and the Texas onion was one of the best I have had! They served our drinks in large Mason jars, and the sweet tea was also very good! Would definitely go back!
It is a good option, their quality is good and prices are reasonable. The staff is kindle, and the location is near to highway to Indianapolis . I would come again.
It's Sunday night and we just left the Texas Corral in Shelbyville. We were a family of 4 with a toddler. We were seated right away and given warm soft dinner rolls with cinnamon butter. Taylor P. was our server. This was our 1st visit. Absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was fun and lively. Our waitress was fast and very friendly. We each chose different meals and we all loved what we got. The food came hot. Had a great time! We will definitely be back!!
Was traveling to Indianapolis and decided to stop in and check this establishment out. The chicken. Noodle soup was good, thick, and tasty.....I think they out an entire chicken in there which was awesome (see pic), my NY Strip was ordered medium, it had Great grill marks, but half of the steak was me and the other half was well done.....it was juicy though and the seasoning made the steak still very tasty.....even at well it was pretty good......the salmon was decent from my wife's report and the kids enjoyed the steak medallions. The sweat T was a bit different but then I remembered we were in Indiana which is not really known for sweet T. All in all, a good dinner & I'm glad we ate here. I think the AC was hurting though bc/ it was HOT on this humid July day in Indy
I went for lunch when my grandmother, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was nice that they offered a lunch menu, but we chose to order off the dinner menu. My grandma got fried catfish which she said was really good, and my steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Our server was friendly as well.
