We went today for lunch. Our service was amazing. Wish I could remember server's name (young man with red hair). He was the best I have ever had at CB or just about anywhere. Food arrived immediately, he served great apple butter with melt in your mouth biscuits. He kept our tea glasses filled & promptly brought to-go boxes & bill. Service was courteous in dining room & at the register. Young lady directed me to the correct jar of apple butter which was served with our meal (I had picked out wrong variety). She knows their merchandise. From holding the front door when we arrived to holding it as we left, I have never had a better dining experience at a CB. Thank you.

Had a wonderful breakfast at Shelbyville Ky. Cracker Barrel this morning!! Wanted to also let the Manager of this location know about our Wonderful Server named Candis. She was very kind & so attentive to our every need We can’t wait to visit this location again soon and we will definitely be asking for Candis to be our server again
Wife and I stopped for late breakfast. I got the sunrise sampler, she got the pancake breakfast. With 2 drinks it came out to $28 plus tip. Food was great. Service was poor last time, but much better today, could have been due to how slow they were though. My main negative is that the biscuits were hard enough to break a window with. They need to replace then with fresh ones when they get that hard. Otherwise, everything was great and tasted very fresh!
Our server Jessica was absolutely wonderful! She was very sweet and friendly and she made sure that we had everything we needed in addition to giving advice about what to order. What a lovely breakfast!
Right off Hwy 64. I stopped for lunch and the restaurant was busy, but not crowded. Staff was friendly. Hostess brought us over to a dirty table and we had to stand in the aisle while we watched her clean and sanitize it. Although, it wasn't a great impression, we were happy to see it was cleaned well. I ordered the grilled trout, mashed potatoes, and country beans. After a 45 minute wait, the fish finally swam to my table. The trout and country beans were excellent. The mashed potatoes were good, but I won't rave about them. Overall, it was a good lunch, but the 45 minute wait for the food was a little long.
After being stuck in Atlanta airport for 2 days I finally caught a flight into Louisville Ky. My daughter in law rescued me there and I was so hungry we decided to stop after leaving the city. Oh my goodness it was so good! We were seated by a young man who then took our order and was very patient with my grandchildren who were trying to order for themselves. Once we placed our order we enjoyed the triangle puzzle on the table that has always held a spot in my heart as that was how I entertained myself years ago. The food came and smelled so delicious. I had ordered as one of my sides, mac and cheese. Oh my! It was so yummy. I even stole some of my granddaughters portion. Of course after our meal it was time for shopping. My grandbabies are 5 and 4 and there were plenty of things to catch their eye. After an inner struggle of which one toy they couldn't live without they finally decided. Makeup and dinosaurs. The rocking chairs on the front porch had to be tested by each child before loading up and heading home. Cracker barrel has always be associated with family gatherings and good food. Food like your mom or grandma use to make. With our bellies full and my wallet a little lighter we happily started for home. Thank you so much for the warm happy feeling you give us each time we come.
Had lunch with my husband on 7/2/2022 and our waitress was Michelle! She was so accommodating and quick with her service. Although having a seemingly rough day she still took the time to chat with us and smile. Thank you for good food and great service Michelle.
