Went to Jack's Grill for Smokehouse Thursday. Great food and Fantastic service! We don't have alot of BBQ options in the Sheboygan area so it is always nice to have another one to try. We were so happy we did. I had the smoked half chicken. Great smoky flavor, meat was juicy and tender and really nicely seasoned with a dry rub. My husband had the ribs. He ordered the full rack and it was a huge portion (plenty for leftovers). The ribs were tender and flavorful. The smokehouse meals came with potato salad, baked beans and cornbread. All of them were tasty as well. No complaints. Will definitely be back.

We just went last Saturday early evening with another couple. It took waitress 15 minutes to bring our water. There were only 2 people at the bar with a bartender and 2 waitresses. It took another 28 minutes to get our drink order taken. We said we were ready to order and she told us that she will be right back. It took over 20 minutes we have finished our drinks by then but didn't want to order another due to slow service. We finally ordered our food and it took overly long to bring it out. We ordered risotto and I am just assuming that it took the 30 minutes to make the risotto. The slow service was really bad but not as bad as the serving of our water, drinks, food. We were at a open table still with no one around us. The waitress did not go around the table to serve us ort drinks and food. She passed it from the corner of the table. She hit my head twice and I was leaning back to give her more room. The hot plates were served over my head and over the man next to me.. By the time we were served there were 4 people at the bar. No one else in the dining room but us 4. Meal was tasty but due to the long wait and extremely poor service we will not go back again. The prices were very high and the serving sizes were small.

I went here on Friday with a recommendation from a friend in the area for the fish fry, I have to say I was impressed the quality of food and atmosphere was relaxing and the drinks were poured tall and strong ! I recommend this if you're looking for a relaxed dining atmosphere with friendly service.

We have been here in the past and have gotten a good fish fry. However, we were there on Friday and got 3 “fish nuggets” instead of the nice pieces of cod that we had gotten the past. The problem with this restaurant is it has always been “hit and miss”. I would like to say that the staff helped make a bad situation good. Thank you to the bar tenders and our waitress who helped make our dining experience.

So hoped that this was going to be a reliable restaurant to count on, NOT, too many disappointed trys. Tonight was the worst, ordered 2 glasses of chardonnay which came in pitiful glasses, a flat bread and shared the Cod fish fry. $49.00. If it was tasty, no problem. Flatbread okay but fish was disappointing at best. Awful wine and service! our wine and flatbread
