Great staff and the Thanksgiving Meal was wonderful.
Very good service! Our waitress Felicia was very attentive and making sure our food was good as well as constantly refilling our drinks. The shrimp was bland as was the fish but the steak made up for it as well as the bourbon chicken. Overall a great experience.
Not the very best golden corral I have been to but not the worst either. We go often because its cost effective with a large family. Steak and service is always good the rest come out of a can or frozen bag and you can tell it! They could at least add some flavor to their vegetables
Eaten here a handful or times, and have never left hungry or dissatisfied. Food quality is very good, and consistent, and always plenty to go around. Tons of choices for picky eaters and kids and everything in between. Service is adequate and normally attentive and good. Only thing I can say that's negative is sometimes the crowd is sketchy, but worth the chance for the plentiful tasty food options.
We visited at the lunch hour during the week. The buffet was fully stocked with a wide variety of food. We were pleased to find breakfast items still on the bar. The dining room was clean. The staff was very cheerful and helpful. The food on the buffet was top quality.
Pretty good buffet with sirloin steak. It was the best steak I ever had at a Golden Corral. Most everything was hot and fresh and the servers were very friendly as well. The only negative was the sweet tea. The water they made it with tasted like well water. Nasty taste. Would have been 5 stars but I take my sweet tea seriously being a southerner and all. Get the tea situation fixed please.
I absolutely love their food here! There is such a great variety that everyone can find something to eat here. The majority of the staff and cooks are very kind to you as well. Only withholding one star for a one time issue. We went here for my birthday once during a time where there was an issue with the water in Shalotte. That was not a problem as it isn’t controllable, but there was a “greeter” in her later ages who was very stressed out by the fact and was getting very short with people. Otherwise, everyone else is very sweet and I recommend this restaurant.
Me and my family travel a lot on hwy 17 and pass by this resturant often. I am very impressed with the whole resturant in all aspects. I am very picky on cleanliness, and food temps when I sit down to eat. The food was great and hot. I was very impressed that the manager took time to check on everyone and talk to them, although he was very busy. We will stop here more often. The cook that was cooking the steaks was (right on) my steak was cooked perfect! Our waitress was very nice and made sure we were well taken care of.
This is the Golden Corral that we always go to since we live in Shallotte. The prices for seniors have gotten a little high, so we don't go every week like we used to...now we go once a month. The one thing I always looked forward to was the sesame chicken. The chunks of white meat chicken in that sauce was the best. However, now the pieces are small strips of what I believe is dark meat? I'd rather have the original sesame chicken than the steak. Food is always hot though, and the waitresses are always great. Marcie is one of the best waitresses there. Always a smile and right on top of everything. (Gave 4 stars because of the sesame chicken, but we'd give 5 stars for the wait staff!)
3 adults one child, FOOD WAS AWESOME. SERVICE WAS EVEN BETTER. The cook who was preparing steaks looked at me, I asked did he have anything well done, I told him I just wanted a small piece, he said I got you....I'll bring it to you and he did. It was delicious, tender, and we'll done...The manager came and asked if everything was good, the waitress was fast, and polite. I'M STUFFED WRITING THIS, well worth your money and time.
