One of the best burgers I've ever had. The prices were great too. I had the double and my wife had the tenderloin. It was smaller than a lot of places but the flavor made up for it. Now I know what they should taste like and won't be impressed by a plate sized tenderloin. The onion rings were perfect. The batter was almost like a pastry. I will be making the hour long drive just to eat here in the future. There aren't many places like this left. And if you like Big Red you will love the Big Red milkshake.
Service was good! The tenderloins aren't as big as they used to be, but the food and selection were still good. It is fairly expensive to eat here. Our bill was over $40 for 3 people. If that doesn't deter you, this is a fun place to eat!
Stopped in on a long ride for a bigred milkshake. It was amazing. If you've never had one it's a must.
Had a tenderloin and potato wedges. Wife had a cheeseburger and fries. All the food was great.
The waitress was super nice, food came out fast. Cook came out and spoke with us and checked on the food. Showed his enthusiasm for cooking. Had great music and good atmosphere. Great place to pop in and have a quick bite while on the road. Tell them I sent you.
I haven't been here for years but I have to tell you if you get a chance to go you won't be disappointed!!! Service was excellent, prices are competitive, lots of food choices and the food was very good. Pork Burger was awesome very tasty, deep fried veggies were delicious.. Go check them out
My Grandma Mary Cowles Mellencamp used to take me here as a kid in the 90s. Today we were passing by, coming back from Indy. We stopped and I'm so glad we did. It was almost 11am and the gentleman said we will take your order and they came right out. So friendly and offered suggestions. Later I looked them up and they didn't even open for another 15 mins. That's a small town place for you!! You all did not disappoint we will be back. The food was hot and fresh and very good. I will be bringing my three boys back for one of your milkshakes. Thank you for continuing to be open and for your warm hospitality it was truly appreciated and needed.
For those of you that grew up in these parts and desperately miss Beckers drive in from 25th Street, Columbus... This isn't Beckers... And will never replace Beckers, but it has a country charm of its own, and it conjures a nostalgia that I know you'll appreciate.
The food here is good. The sides are great, and the list of shake flavors are an endeavor to sample. It was cool to take my wife and kids here, and I will certainly be doing so more often now that I know of it's existence.
This drive in has my recommendation.
The place was so busy so it took like 20 minutes but the pork bbq sandwich and cheese curds was so good.
