The food was delicious and Gustavo was super nice. The caramel cake is awesome - a must have. You can taste that it was scratch made.
Pintos and cornbread awesome and portion big enough for two to share and have a meal. Caramel cake took me back to my mamaws after school sitting in her kitchen. Definitely got a new customer for life
This place is so country. Not like country retro. Or country chic. Or country vintage.... it is just plain ol country. The place is not much to look at. So don't look. Just eat. The food is country cooking. It is really good, really country home cooking. Full of country flavor. The menu will be on the whiteboard and it's whatever they've cooked that day. Same for the desserts. If she has cake you will definitely want to save room for it. I think they rotate there dishes. Like maybe chicken and dumplings on Tuesdays... it seems like they always have chicken salad on a croissant. The portions are good and the price is fair.

This amazing secret place down in Seymour Tennessee has some of the best homemade country cooking you can find. I had the fried chicken and as you can see from the picture the piece of chicken was as big as my head! And it was tender and juicy and wonderful just like you might imagine. If you miss out on the potato salad Then you made a big mistake. Also normally I wouldn't recommend people's coleslaw but this coleslaw it is to die for. The green beans will taste like your grandmother's and the desserts are worth the trip alone.
I only ever get coffee here. It's always good. My only complaint is that sometimes hours are really wonky and not as advertised. The food definitely smells good
This is a small, local place with amazing food! The service was excellent, as well. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The menu is small, but the food was excellent. It reminded me of going to your grandma’s house for a meal! We will definitely be back!
It's good old fashioned country comfort food. They usually serve 3 main dishes with 6 or 7 sides to choose from, plus they usually have beans and corn bread, and chicken salad sandwiches as additional options. They make their own desserts, which are always good. The couple that runs it are very nice. Plus, Johnny Knoxville has eaten there!
If you love home country cooking....this will be your new favorite place! I have eaten here at least 50-times.
Our family LOVES to eat here on Tuesdays! Chicken n' Dumplins, turnip greens and green beans-sweet tea to drink! Best chicken and dumplins EVER! Friendly service and excellent food - every meal I've ever eaten here is delicious!!
Great little southern mom and pop style restaurant. It's a small place and seems to be a popular local place. I gave if 4 stars because it is cash only and I had to go to the ATM next door.
GREAT! Authentic country-style cooking with daily specials...it's all tasty and seasoned well! Be sure to ask about the homemade desserts too! YUM!!
We found this place through Google Maps and was quite pleased with the find. It's a small place but the food is amazing and the chef was extremely nice! We had the ham, BBQ, & fried chicken.
Some of the best Southern home cooking comfort food around. Their BBQ Pork sandwich, chichen salad, pintos, turnip greens, and chicken n' dumplins are wonderful!
