Gold Rush Bistro

Gold Rush is our new favorite restaurant in Seward! The food was unique, delicious, and beautifully prepared. We had a party of 7, and they were able to seat us within 30 minutes during the dinner rush! They had kid-friendly food that was a hit, and their aioli sauce with their sweet potato fries were so good, we ordered it with our entrees as well! We each tried a different entree, and everything we had was incredible. It was a very welcoming and calm environment with excellent food. We can’t wait to go back!!

We ate here very recently and I wanted to say we had excellent food and great service. Thank you so much for taking care of our family while we were there. There were 10 of us. Sometimes taking care of a group can be tough but we really appreciate the attention to our group and wonderful service. Keep up the good work!!!

We ordered the veggie quesadilla, steak tacos and the gold pan (Crab, fish and chips, and chowder). The veggie quesadilla was one of the worst quesadillas I have ever tried as if they just put all of the kitchen leftovers in a tortilla and toasted it, the steak tacos while palatable were dry and flavor less. And the gold pan was mediocre but better than the other dishes. Finally the service, was like the name of the restaurant signified was rushed we were handed the check before we asked for it and which felt like politely telling us to leave. To summarize if I was asked for a restoraunt recommendation I would not recommend it.

Great great food and the service was awesome! My girlfriend ordered the salmon burger and fries. I tasted it and I would definitely order it again, she loved and said the same thing. I order the fish(rockfish and salmon) and chips. The portions of the fish were kinda small but it was still very tasty. I was surprised how much I liked the deep fried salmon. It was really good. We also ordered a bowl of clam chowder and it was our favorite chowder on the entire trip. A shoutout to the servers and hostesses! They were by filling water glasses regularly. They never let our glasses get below halfway. I don’t know why, but that’s a big deal for me haha. Thanks for the great experience guys!
