My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time this evening. We are fairly early diners, so the place wasn’t super busy yet. There was plenty of staff scurrying around. I had the Carnita Michoacan and it was the best pork I have ever had in a Mexican restaurant, hands-down. It was not chewy cubes but more like roasted pork butt that had been pulled off in chunks. Delicious! My husband had the Casuela, which while not spicy, he said he would have again. We both enjoyed the refried beans. We had a very pleasant experience and will be happy to come back, there are plenty of things on the menu we want to try.

The food was great, as always. Our server was very helpful, friendly, and personable, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the patio.

I got the steak special. An advertised 16oz Ribeye ended up being a massive steak, minimum 24-26oz. Grilled to perfection. The missus got garlic shrimp and loved it. The pomegranate margarita was amazing. I chased the marg with a Don Julio Blanco. An unscrupulous business would have tried to pass off Cuervo silver as top shelf. Not here, I got the real deal. High marks for tast, value, and service.

Food was great Service from our waitress- non existent. She was always disappearing and all we got was water since we never saw her again after ordering our food. We said forget desert- I’m not going to track a waitress down- but the table behind us sure got good service… Service from the bus/ chips and salsa girl: 10/10 she was cute as a button and just a sweet heart!

I had Camaron a la Crema, and it was delicious. They have great refriend beans too. The service was slow, but it's because they were so busy.
