Burger King

I’m aghast! Truly, I am. I stopped by this local BK yesterday to grab a quick bite for lunch as I forgot to pack my own. I had to pick up my wife for an appointment, so I thought I would get something we could share. I ordered a Double Stack King with bacon medium meal. The young lady asked me if I wanted to donate a dollar to help the hungry kids, I said sure, hopefully some or all of that money actually gets into a hungry kid’s tummy. I thought I heard her say it was going to be $17.90, but I thought: Nah, there’s no way. I must have heard wrong. I get to the wi Dow and she says: $17.90 please. I asked her if she could double check to make sure that was right and she checked and it was correct. I got home and there was the double stacker, which admittedly is a good sized burger, and a handful of fries along with a medium Coke which was way too much Coke. Is this what it’s come to? Even if I deduct the dollar I donated to help the hungry kids, I’m still in over $16 for a quick, positively unhealthy meal. No more.

Alright, I'm going to start off with saying I used to work here. In fact, it was my first job. I'm going to start off with saying that this place is absolutely terrible. Starting from co-workers insulting customers on the headpieces we had to wear, absolutely terrible training, and overall just a toxic environment. If you are interested in working here, literally try to work anywhere else. It pays minimum wage to deal with 16 year old managers who don't even properly train you. I've had to come home dehydrated and with a headache almost every shift. Please do not apply here. And to note, not everyone is bad there, I've managed to make a few friends there but that's the only reason why I haven't talked to anyone from district.
