West Side Deli

Great food! Fresh and has Gluten free bread options. Great place before or after a mtb ride. They have such a great product. I wish they would present themselves better as a business. When walking in it's a little confusing on what you're supposed to do because there is no menu posted. right in the center there is desk where you order. If someone was standing there when I walked in it would have been easier to figure that out. But because the product is so good I'll be back!

4 big hungry guys stopped in here on a Friday at lunch time and picked up 8 sandwiches to go. Service was excellent and quick considering our order. We took the sandwiches back to our room to share with our wives and everyone raved! Wonderful options. great bread, fresh ingredients, fair prices, just all around solid sandwiches. Great job West Side Deli.

Great food, the service was so slow to say the least!my wife and I were finished and 20 minutes later they brought out my daughters soup and cheeseburger which was the wrong soup. Then 10 minutes after that the correct soup was brought out. No fries for my son the entire time until we were about to leave so we took them to go. They need better communication with there staff the entire restaurant looked frustrated. Hopefully they get it together because the food was good.

My family stumbled into the West Side Deli at lunchtime sorta by chance. We got a total of six sandwiches, all of which were excellent. Fresh bread, including gluten-free, good-quality meats and thoughtful flavor profiles. We also had a salad which was above average, but not as tip-top as the sandwiches. We went back two days later for more sandwiches, and stumbled into "kids-eat-free-day" which delighted my grilled-cheese-loving 8-y.o. Prices are fair for the high quality; service is somewhat slow, but given that they really are making sandwiches properly and fresh, not at all out-of-bounds. A very good choice for take-away or dine-in at lunch!

By far the worst experience and service I have ever had. Service is very slow, as I observed another table ask for a small order of fries 3 times within a 15 minute time frame (and told that they were still being cooked, even though another person received fries moments before). A reimbursement was also made for that same table due to miscommunication between the staff. This same quality of service was then given to our group of 4, where a burger was served cold and an order was completely forgotten. Overall, we waited 25+ minutes for sandwiches on a slow afternoon. While showing frustration with a staff member due to a forgotten order, and from seeing the service he provided another table, he proceeded to unprofessionally and unmannerly say, "You don't have to be rude" in a wonderfully-kind and delightful tone! Which should have been expected after seeing this employee scoff and roll his eyes at another team member for inquiring about an order/miscommunication right at the register. There is potential here, but unfortunately a lack of teamwork, communication, service and professionalism at this establishment is a true setback. I hope the employee has a brighter day tomorrow and I did appreciate his efforts of a free soda pop and chips, but all I wanted was what I paid for (and did not ask for a reimbursement for despite my experience). Within 30+ minutes that wish was granted, but I cannot say that I recommend Westside Deli.
