Sonic Drive-in

Came in around 10pm and was I inorgerd car pulled next to me was waited on so I moved to another stall thinking maybe it was a issue with the intercom waited another 20 minutes went up to the door the manager said they'd be right with me went back to my car waited another 15 minutes they then turned the lights off and claimed they were closed....

I have stopped in here several times . When its good its good when its bad its insanely bad. I understand that fast food places have a terrible time there help is often kids with questionable work ethics . Man but this one seems to get it wrong a lot. The one downtown at kentucky and broadway never gets it wrong . Anyhow this morning we pulled in discussed what we wanted hit yhe red button the screen said button has been hit. Then we waited over 15 mins. Before we decieded no one was going to wait on us. They never did . Now they did have a drive up but he was still waiting at the payment window as we drove off. I do not know what it is about this place to cause this but how many folks does this happen to you have to wonder.

We just stopped for an afternoon treat. But when we went to place our order, the wind was blowing so hard the young lady couldn't hear a word we said. She ran outside to the car and took our order in person, ran back in and entered the order like nothing happened. Our order came right out and was delicious. We really appreciated her extra effort!

Foot long chili cheese coney are the best. Update. Lost one star today because of one of my two chili cheese coneys was terrible. The bun was very very dried out and it was in several large pieces. It was crunchy. The hot dog was so dark and dried out and was very salted like it has been sitting for some time. The second one was great just as usual. Update 2/9/22 Seems like they changed there chili recipe. Don't taste like it did several years ago. 05/26/22 Everything today was great. Food tasted better then last time.
