Mamajuana Cafe

Celebrated my birthday here it was amazing. I enjoyed everything about it, the gentleman who I spoke too in regards my reservation & etc, took very good care of me & my party of 12. Everyone was completely stuffed from the amazing dishes we all ordered. Our waiter Michael, he was a love, very patient with us & accurate in our orders. I would DEFIANTLY come back to this place. Like any busy fast paced restaurant it will be busy & times you might have to wait for a while. Thank you Mama Juana in making my 31st birthday special. 😊

Horrible experience. They had us wait for 10 minutes to be seated outside while the place was empty. The waitress was definitely not friendly. She was very rude with no customer service what so ever. She rushed us to order the food and drinks in which one of the drinks had 3 fruit flies!! Her reaction was normal to this while we were disgusted by this... Management is horrible in this place!! We called the manager and does not even apologize and neither the waitress. This was my first time being there and definitely the last time.. Who knows in what conditions their kitchen is for this to happen or maybe they don't clean their bottles right for it to have fruit flies.

Less than 40 people in restaurant, including my group of 2 adults and 1 child. Ambiance was pleasant and staff was friendly. Cocktails were not good. Service was slow. Food came out cold and they forgot an item, even after main meal was served and reminded waiter and server 3 times. Disappointing especially for the price.

I absolutely love this place. I used their catering service back on may 29th for a surprise party. The entire process from beginning to end was smooth, no hassles NO issues. The food was amazing. Everyone at the party has a positive response to the food and they were all from different ethnic background. The paella was the real deal with real seafood, not like other places were they serve you a whole lot of rice and no seafood. The food is so amazing and the service is so incredibly well that we just book a private party for this month. I don't work for Mamajuana, nor do I have any financial or family interest. This place is simply the best. I highly recommend this Mamajuana Cafe. The owner is professional and very attentive to the customer's need and the same goes for their hostess and the entire staff.

This is the worst place I have been to in a while food wise. I went for a Sunday brunch and we were informed there is only buffet style service. However, the food was so cold!! The mangu was almost the best thing, which was mediocre at best. The egg station the attendant did not wear gloves, the seasoning was way off. The best thing on the menu was the steak, however the thick piece were still raw and cold. But on the more positive side, their rum punch is the bomb diggity. The drinks are unlimited with the brunch service, which are very VERY potent. The mimosa was not that good either. The best thing about this place is solely the rum punch and second is the steak. Your better off going to the location in Paterson that is a MUCH better experience.
