This was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. The tram tour was very informative and fun. We saw alligators, turtles, fish, many birds, a deer! Just beautiful to be in nature and see wildlife freely roaming. Then we had a picnic in the park! A must do for young & old alike.

Just an all round great park. The trails are easy to follow and an easy hike. It has a huge playground and covered pavilions. Well worth the trip.

What a beautiful park. We chose to drive through and get out and walk a couple small trails. There are plenty of trails to choose from. You can also camp in sites or “the wilderness” as they put it. There is a spot to rent bikes, a small gift shop for souvenirs or snacks. The restrooms are very clean. There is a conservation museum and also a place to have small music in the park events. But the beauty of the park was my favorite. So many different trees and plants. The swampy part was my favorite. We did not see any alligators or bears. But we did see bear droppings.

I had the best camping here 🤩 we saw bear, snakes, birds... lots of animals and trails, a pretty nice park to have a good time with family and friends. There is two playgrounds, one near the museum and the other one in the campground. I did a little research about the snake we saw : Cottonmouth / Water Moccasin (Agkistrodon piscivorus / wich are venomous, but they don't usually attack people, anyways you have to be alert, wildlife are beautiful, we just have to respect. 😊🏕🫎🐆🦦🐿🐻🐊

We enjoyed this park! Sad that the catwalk was out of service and blocked off, we really wanted to explore it a little. The scenery is gorgeous and the gentleman in the museum was super informative and helpful. We saw a few snakes and a lot of birds. Enjoyed seeing the interesting trees and hiking around the park. My niece and nephew got to check more things off for their Junior Ranger program. We had a great time!

I love this Park! I renewed my annual Park pass and it was half off today until January. The park is amazing! Had lunch there and walked some trails . The weather was beautiful! The camp store was open but the museum was closed I'm sure they are getting ready for season. Awesome day at the park!

This was the perfect place to picnic with a young child. The playground, bathrooms and picnic tables are well-situated. It's a beautiful step into an old Florida hammock. We did see one buck around dusk. Next visit, maybe we'll camp here. Great place to bicycle and hike as well.

One of my favorite parks in FL. If you're an early riser, you'll see deer grazing nearby. Most of the spots have shade so you really can't find a bad spot.
Generally, people with big families or groups tend to gather on the West side of the campground, older folks to the East side (the better wheelchair accessible bathroom is on the East side).
Rangers are friendly and helpful. Camp hosts keep everything clean. Outside noise is minimal.
It was rainy this trip so not many pictures. However did notice that the drainage from afternoon rains was great, almost no puddles.

We got to spend a little over an hour here and we wish we had more. It looks like there's around 20 trails or so. We seen a deer and turtle. They have restrooms near the trails and it's only $4 per car.

Beautiful park. Lots of short trails 👣. There's a small store and CCC museum. Nice picnic area. Campsites are ok. Since are very crowded. Not much privacy, if any. It's still one of our favorite parks.
