Update...5 months later we tried again at lunch, food soon much better!
We have always enjoyed the food here, we live 30 minutes away & stop in when we're in the area. This time it was greasy & just not good. One dinner Cajun fish & shrimp had no Cajun taste, the other fish & shrimp dinner was greasy & just not appetizing at all, don't think we'll be back for a while.

It was my first time visiting, the customer service was top notch, the person taking care of my family and I was very patient since we weren't familiar with the menu and specials, she explained every dish we had questions about, the food was very tasty and not greasy and the ambiance was clean and pleasant. I recommend Captain D and we will definitely go back soon.

Quick service seafood. Worth the money and very delicious. We have just started coming here and have gone back multiple times.

The fried fish was tender in the inside with a crunchy breading. Order came with two sides, Cole slaw and Mac and cheese tasted good. Hush puppies were fried well and had good flavor. Broccoli was not mushy. Menu was clear and easy to read. Reasonably priced. Friendly service. Clean dining room. Plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessible. I didn't see the restroom. Convenient to hospital and small shopping plaza.

Can be called a hidden treasure because of how hard I is to find even with Google Maps. The food was really good especially the green beans. Really clean inside to despite the out side appearance. The waiting time for your order is really short 5-10 minutes. The staff working there are really friendly to. A great place overall and would recommend it to anyone who isn't allergic to seafood.

My first time having Captains Do’s and it’s really nothing special. I’m hear to talk about the staff. I don’t remember her name but the girl working the window was so nice. They mistakenly over charged me and I didn’t even notice in the moment but, she immediately corrected it. When I was ordering and I told her I had never been there prior, she told me all the popular items. When my order came she made sure I had all the sauces I needed. We had a bit of small talk and I could tell that she was a genuinely nice person. I really wish I remembered her name. She’s amazing!!
