    • When We Started Shinka Tea, We Knew the Trickiest Recipes to Craft Would Be the Frozen Drinks. Our Mandate Was Simple: Create All-Natural Blended Drinks That Would Present the Intense Flavor of Fresh Fruit Without Sacrificing the Real Character of Tea. To This End We Rejected Factory Produced Mixes in Favor of Natural Ingredients and Our Own Fresh Brewed Tea.
    • Our Granitas and Smoothies Are Made From Frozen Fruit Purees Prepared in-House. The Puree Is Made From Natural Fruit and Frozen Into Tablets. By Freezing the Fruit in Advance, We Can Control the Recipe of Each Drink While Reducing the Amount of Cubed Ice: The Frozen Puree Acts as an Ice Substitute, Allowing the Entire Liquid Portion of the Beverage to Be Tea - the Same Strong Tea We Brew to Make Our Shaken Milk Tea.
    • The Result Is a Perfect Blend of Fruit and Tea. Even Without Dairy, the Quantity of Natural Fruit Yields a Velvety Mouthfeel and an Intense Flavor, Closer to a Sorbetto Than a Granita.
    • When We Opened Our New Capitol Hill Store in Late 2007, We Introduced the Option to Add Fat-Free Yogurt to the Drink. The Result Is a Smoothie Instead of a Granita. As the Flavor of Tea Is Diminished, the Natural Tartness of Yogurt Steps in to Complement the Fruit.
  • Whole Leaf Tea‎
    • Our Drinks Begin with Robust Infusion of High Quality Whole Leaf Tea. We Never Use Fake Flavors or Powders. Real Taiwanese Milk Tea Is Much Closer in Spirit to English Tea: A Strong and Sometimes Sweet but Always Bracing Beverage.
    • Our Day Begins Every Morning with the Preparation of a Whole Leaf Tea Infusion. We Use a Tremendous Amount of Tea, Carefully Controlling the Water Temperature and Steeping Time to Get the Best Extraction - the Crumpled Tea Leaves Unfurl to Enormous Size, Producing a Tea ''Liquor' of Great Flavor and Strength.

All the rave surrounding Kung Fu tea has settled like pulp into concentrated opinion: Kung Fu can compete with sharetea. While you won't find droves of people here all the time, the place is nearly always busy. A lack of tables makes for hard group conversations, if that's your thing, but the milk tea is rich and they offer some fun flavors for the "young at heart".

I went there unplanned and apart from the excitement of spotting bubble tea I didn't know what to order . The guy at the billing counter was very sweet and navigated me . I ordered for a tea with dates which was supposedly very sweet and I asked him if he can reduce the sugar in it and he happily obliged . I finished it . Loved it . Both the experience and the tea. Drop in if you love bubble teas like me . 😀

A place you want to stay and not just grab your tea and go. Tapioca was baked to perfection. The traditional tapioca milk tea was one of the best I have tried around the world.

They're still in soft opening period. The store is spacious, well lit, and adorned with cute decorations, however there are not enough seats. I got their regular milk tea and a strawberry caramel pudding. The pudding came with a cute container and tiny accompanying spoon. It'll be hard to share as they don't have extra spoons for you. The tea was quite a surprise. I got it with regular ice and sweetness and found that it is not very sweet compared to other places, probably about 40-50% at most. It was very fragrant though, you can tell that they used quality tea. The size, is more Asian size. They have Medium and Large, and I think the medium is about 10-12oz as most. However the quality makes up for it, and I think I'll return in the future.

Surprisingly one of the best bubble teas I have ever tasted in my life. Their pearls have real flavour and their milk teas are designed just the way you'd like it. Their quality of drink definitely tops Oasis!
