This place has really good, fresh food that is prepared quickly. Came during a small dinner rush but our food was ready in less than 10 min. Everything was good. My favorite was the KFC sweet garlic. The space was clean and a nice open space
The place gets warm with the open kitchen despite the ac and a crack window so might be better to sit outside or do to go.
This is a place where you order and pay up front , then bring out the food and you bus your own tables. Table and water are in a corner.
My fried said her fried rice was too salty.
My fried chicken bowl with no rice was tasty so my review is a reflection of the food I got. The chicken was not soggy despite covered in sauce
The rice bowls that both of my friends got were steaming hot. They had to wait for it to cool down before eating.
Solid. Wasn’t too keen on the chicken in the chicken bibimbap. Its tasty, but it’s a ground, spiced, chicken mash rather than strips. The fried chicken is very good. Potstickers average. Kimchee/pork pancake was greasy, but very good at the same time; loved the chewy texture. For the price, I’d definitely return. All in all, quite good, just not anything special enough to bump it up to 5 stars.
All I can say is WOW. The people here are incredible. I came in with my work team for a lunch & have some serious food restrictions. I forgot to ask about sugar and was unable to enjoy the bowl I ordered… I insisted that another was needed and the owner made me a new bowl, omitting all of my food restrictions. I was beyond touched and impressed. Not only is the food here INCREDIBLE, every time I have come the people employed here are wonderful. I can’t express my appreciation enough. If more stars were available they would certainly deserve them!
I really enjoyed the combo bowl with Korean fried chicken and side salad. The salad dressing was very good. The Korean fried chicken was juicy and flavorful. I would go back again. Parking was pretty crazy on a Friday night.
Oma Bap is a cute and convenient fast casual Korean spot mainly serving Bibimbap, Fried Rice Bowls and a variety of drinks and sides. It's a great spot when you're in a pinch and need something fast, or aren't sure where to go. The location is central, so it's easy to get to from most spots in capitol hill. I usually get the Bibimbap bowls, since you can customize it, chipotle style, and take home the pork belly pancake. This is ideal for casual dinners with friends, or a quick bite before a night out.
Food was so good, and customizable to your taste. The patio seating in front was so nice and airy. Fair pricing. Nice service. Was a little slower than I would expect, but I did go in the middle of dinner time.
Went to Oma Bap for the first time and I gotta say: absolutely delicious 😋!!! The atmosphere is so lively and beautiful. Customer service was very helpful and very nice. The food itself was amazing! I ordered the Combo Bowl that comes with a choice of rice, protein, and kimchi. It also comes with miso soup & 3 potstickers!!! Yum!!!! For me, my bowl is white rice with spicy pork and Napa kimchi. I’m so satisfied 😍😍😍! Highly recommended!!! Love love love it 😍
Really convenient and peaceful spot to pick up TASTY Korean food! I got the salmon bowl with brown rice and everything was perfectly seasoned. The salmon was also perfectly cooked, tender and falling apart. Yum!!
Loved the KFC (korean fried chicken). The gochujang chicken paired well with the spicy pickles and slaw.
For side dishes, the pickled daikon kimchi and spicy pickles were both really good.
