Just good sushi in a simple and clean atmosphere in a great neighborhood. I first visited this place after moving to Seattle, and I was hooked after that. The place is decorated simply and with a classic taste, the service is top notch, cordial, and timely. The prices aren’t cheap but they are accurate for the value and the quality you are receiving.
The menu is a little longer than I’d like for a small restaurant like this, but hey, it seems to be working for them. The sushi is tasty, well-made and prepared, and the wine has always been good.
If you are in the Denny Triangle neighborhood near the Whole Foods, skip the sushi from WF and come to this place, it’s great!

It's fine for a quick eat. They kind of forgot about us so we waited for our bills for a long time. There was no indication that it was pay at counter.

I have been here a few times and been satisfied with the quality and price particularly because eating out in this area of town can get pricey. The Bento lunch special has been my favorite because you get a lot of food but I have also enjoyed the sushi rolls. If you have any concerns about food allergies or contamination you will want to warn your server because one time our whole group ordered sushi and they brought it out all on one plate and my friend forgot to tell them she has a shellfish allergy.

Food is average nothing amazing about it. Try to get here before 12p, if you're doing lunch, otherwise you hit the lunch hour rush. Not sure how it is during dinner time though.

I've been here quite a few times and have really enjoyed it. It's not a 'Fancy' sushi place, but the service has always been great. The cuts are reasonable and the prices are about in line with other non-fancy places. A solid step above in quality from conveyor-belt sushi.

The sweet potato tempura roll was very delicious, good balance of sweet and crunchy. Great vegan and vegetarian sushi options with a hip atmosphere and friendly staff.

I've tried the bento box several times and been pleased with all my choices. For SLU 15 bucks for a big lunch is a deal. One of few places you can get a seat at noon and way better than the sushi at whole foods. Staff seems nice and attentive, restroom is clean, all and all a nice spot.
