Brisket sandwich is AMAZING! Po Boy isn't something I'd order again.

One of the most amazing sandwich places you’ll eat at. It’s much more than just a sandwich. The meat is cooked to perfection, bread is delicious and soft. The flavor combinations are too die for. Tried the brisket sandwich, avocado toast and meat pie. Make sure to add the chicken skin to your order as well. Fries are nothing special but I came here for the sandwich anyway! Tried the salted cookie and that is a great tasting cookie. If you’re in Seattle, put this on your list of food places to try 👌

Simply the best! Everything here is amazingly delicious. The 12h brisket is probably my favorite item on the menu. Every time I go here, I always leave with a huge smile on my face.

I’d give a 4.5 if I could but didn’t have it in me to pick 4* so rounding up to 5* :-). Brisket sandwich 9.5/10, fries 7/10 (maybe because of the aioli bringing them down), scallion aioli 4/10 (never met an aioli I didn’t like until this one, just not bringing good flavor). Maybe they could create a couple new sauces and let you pick one instead of defaulting to one. A good garlic aioli could be 🔥. Also, it got busy and the waiter was working hard to help everyone and was nice in my brief interaction (she chose to be cool, calm, and nice instead of putting a stress energy out there, A+)

Summary: Fantastic gourmet sandwiches with tons of flavor and perfectly baked bread. Prices are either just right or maybe even under-priced for the quality and quantity you get. Don’t pass on trying Slab if you want a great sandwich. We got the Cubano and Burrata sandwiches. The pork in the Cubano was incredibly tender and juicy - quality you’d expect at a much pricier sit down place. My only recommendation is it needs something sharp like yellow mustard (or more of it) or peppers to cut the fat in the sandwich. Still, it’s a solid sandwich that I can’t wait to try again but this time with a side of Mama’s Lil hot peppers. The burrata sandwich was perfect - deliciously soft burrata with a lot of flavor. The bread at Slab is NOT an afterthought. It has the perfect chew without taking over the flavors of the rest of the sandwich. Both sandwiches were pretty large and filling. Fries were a 10/10 - so crispy, salty, and fresh + the aioli they come with was tasty. Lastly, don’t skip the chocolate chip cookie - it’s worth the calories for sure

Every single sandwich I’ve tried on this menu is delicious and worth a visit. My most recent visit we got the Burrata and the 12 Hour Brisket and both were wonderful. The bread is fresh, perfectly chewy, and is toasted on the inside so each bite is crispy and delicious. The smoked brisket is prepared fresh each day (and by that I mean the day before so it has time to smoke overnight), so once it’s gone it’s gone, but it’s absolutely cooked to perfection and my number one favorite sandwich here. The Cuban with the pork confit is also deliciously tender and juicy and is my second favorite choice if the brisket is already gone for the day. I got the Burrata my most recent visit and the cheese was very soft and flavorful next to the fresh tomatoes and peppers, and is finished off perfectly with a tart balsamic dressing. A perfectly light and filling veggie sandwich for a warm afternoon. If you can snag a freshly baked cookie before they sell out, you absolutely won’t regret it. Today we got the chocolate chip with flaked sea salt and it was soft, chewy, and just an overall amazing treat to end my lunch with. Not to mention that the staff is always super lovely and kind, and they always make the visit worth it for me. Love this place for a delicious quick bite at a good price!

Such a gem! I come here every time I visit Seattle. Incredible latte. The best sandwiches, with a vibey vacant bar to eat your carbs at. It’s perfectly empty, so refreshing to escape tourist lines everywhere right now. Fried chicken sandwich, brisket sandwich, avocado toast, cookies. Can’t go wrong!

It is built as a pick-up and eat at the office / home. The best brisket sandwich ever.

This was a killer take on a cubano. Confit pork shoulder, some kind of fancy pants raw ham (Serrano?), Gruyère, Dijon, grilled scallion aioli, and smoked pickled chips.

Amazing sandwiches and pies. The bread was unlike any other that I've had. They were really friendly. Great place for a quick lunch.
