Still the best Bun Bo Hue in the Seattle area for me. It has all the proper fixings- pork knuckle and blood included- at a big portion and great price with lots of fresh veggies. I think they used to serve it with banana flower but didn't get any this most recent visit. Still dang delicious as always regardless :)
BEST PHO IN SEATTLE! There, I said it! As my previous spots have either dried up or are now hit-or-miss, I've found that Pho So 1 is truly #1. It took me way too long to try this place, but it's been my go-to for the last two years now. They're known for their Bun bo Hue, which I have not yet tried, but i can vouch for their scrumptious broth and top notch Pho Tai! They're on a hectic block with comical parking, but find a way and go give them a try...
Amazing service and atmosphere! Very clean and orderly. We ordered the Egg rolls, Pho Dac Biet and Bun Bo Hue (BBH) So 1. Both were tasty and made us warm and full!
Parking is limited, but there is underground parking that is probably best during the day. Beware of sportier cars scraping on exit from underground parking
Best pho and bun bo hue we have had in Seattle! Portion was generous. Broth was so good that no condiments were needed. Service is as expected as most pho establishments. Not horrible but not very attentive either. The environment appeared very clean. Although the outside can be a little sketch due to those hanging outside. So stay cautious. Overall, we wish this business the best and hope they succeed for many years to come. Will definitely visit again.
Amazing bun bo hue and flan 😍 ate the BBH too fast so I didn’t get a photo of it
Came in and you basically choose where to sit. I ordered steak and brisket pho and a side of egg rolls. The pho was pretty good, the broth could use just a little bit more flavor. The egg rolls were great. The service is great, he got our order and our food came out pretty quick. I would definitely come back again and also recommend it if you are in the neighborhood.
I really like this authentic Vietnamese restaurant. It is not fancy, nor the best service on earth but very good foods and prices. With all stupid excuses about inflation, I am amazed this humble place still charges very reasonable prices for most dishes.
Ordered beef pho and it was so so good! Also their Vietnamese coffee is great! The only concern I had was that the bean sprouts looked old and questionable. So much so that my friends and I didn’t add them to our pho, which was good enough without it however. Friendly staff. Parking can be difficult (located immediately underground the front parking lot) and the surrounding area is a little dirty… watch your head when you cross the streets, the pigeons and crows have good aim o.0
I have visited this place for over a decade. There are so many Vietnamese restaurant in Seattle downtown area and my pick is always Pho So 1 as they cook what it is supposed to be prepared. Bun Bo Hue and Pho Bo are always recommended for rainy days in Seattle. The owner, cook and staffs are kind and professional. Cheers!
Love the host here — very friendly. And Pho and Bun Bo Hue are both very good
