I ordered food and it was wonderful! The bacon was fairly crispy, tons of lettuce, the bread was so good I’m just very happy with this experience! They wrapped my sandwich very well too which is so helpful in keeping crumbs and all in the wrap!
To anyone that has spent any time in U Distric This deli needs no introduction. My Favorite Deli has a variety of freshly made breakfast and lunch options. My favorite is the croissant bacon egg n cheese!
Store is a bit small but don't let that dissuade you from going. The breakfast sandwichs are fantastic!!! I've heard the coffee is pretty good too but I don't drink coffee so I cant confirm that but based off the good food u believe it :)
I love their grilled cheese sandwich but you got to make sure. That you? Tell them. Exactly it's sadly what you want because they will mess up every single time. They have bad athe tubes. The service is not all that great but the sandwiches are excellent. They used to serve a huge pickle with your sandwich but now they serve little tiny slices a pickle which really sucks so I always have to ask. 2 servings at pickles. Make sure to check your food to make sure you got exactly what you ordered
Good sandwich shop. Fairly basic menu and a bit expensive for simple sandwiches, but they are good. Bread for the subs is great. Usually pretty quick service
On occasion, we travel to Seattle to visit the University medical center. We stay at the Collegiana. The first time we were here, many years ago, I was walking up the street, and the gentleman in My Favorite Deli gave me a big wave from across the street. In what is my custom to a friendly greeting, I went in, chatted, ordered breakfast sandwiches and coffee, and brought them back to our room. Though the management has since changed, on each of our visits to Seattle over the past four years, I have continued that tradition. Invariably, Zion and her staff are efficient, happy, and friendly. Invariably, the food is great, hot, with generous servings, and always tasty. Covid safe to boot. Update, November 1, 2023. New faces, no changes. A delightful place in which to feel welcome.
My Favorite Deli is, for certain, my favorite place to eat lunch when I'm on campus. The staff is all great and the sandwiches are simple but perfect for a nice light lunch.
Literally just as the name implies! Excellent service, excellent coffee and excellent food. I literally love the fresh home made muffins! They captured my eye as soon as I came in. I got mine fixed up with lox, cream cheese, tomatoes, and onions. OMG the BEST THING EVER!! 😍😍😍Highly highly recommend this place everything is super affordable I'm so happy I stumbled upon this pure Seattle Gem 💎💎👑 will definitely come back again soon.
I go here about 3 times a week for lunch. The sandwiches have all been really tasty and the California Club is my favorite. Service is quick, the staff always seem to be busy, but still are very friendly. They obviously made it a point to learn my name when I started coming in regularly. It does get busy at times and the shop is small so it can get crowded fairly quick. Would recommend this place.
Delicious, cheap, and friendly! Love their sausage egg and cheese bagels, and my girlfriend loves the poppyseed bagels with cream cheese. The bagels here are seriously so good! And with free coffee with the bagel sandwich, it’s hard to not go here every day.
