Uptown Espresso

I just love their Cafe Gerrera- the one which is a mix of Cafe Mocha and orange peel. I love their ambience and seating area, it's very cosy and I could spend a lot of time with the right company, u know! ;) The staff is also quite friendly. They have outdoor seating options too in case you want to soak some sun while having an amazing coffee!

I went in and asked for a coffee and in conversation I mentioned that I was mildly lactose intolerent and she caught that there was milk in it and made me a totally new drink. Its a small thing to do but it made my whole day! They were really nice people and their shop was welcoming and cute! A perfect area for a coffee and study duo.

Came in with 2 friends from Sea-Tac. They were helpful in showing us the keycafe lock for our airbnb. I ordered a normal drip coffee. It was fantastically smooth. My friends ordered a hot chocolate and a mocha. Both were delicious. I liked the table in the middle that held water cups, different types of creamers and a bowl of small chocolate chips for those who want to sweeten their drink. The whole atmosphere of the place is cozy and warm, making you want to stay longer. The space can be a bit loud, so it may be hard to study here, but it is the perfect place to bring a friends to talk.

Emily and Sofia are amazing people! Everyone should visit Emily on Thursdays because she really makes uptown a special coffee shop, and makes amazing coffee! (I’m gay, not trying to hit on her BTW) I feel really lucky to have been able to talk with Emily the last 5 years while getting my cup of coffee. She is very kind and I can’t imagine this coffee shop without her. Selfishly I always told her that I wanted to move before she quit, this way she wouldn’t be the one saying goodbye.
