Unplanned dinner visit with no reservations on a Saturday evening and we managed to get a table for 5. It’s a happy feeling when that happens if you know what I mean :). We liked the ambience and the hostess was very warm. We started with Brussels sprouts, corn , chicken wings as appetizers and all the three dishes didn’t let us down. We ordered fried chicken- a disappointment. Unsure if this was chicken or quail. Tiny and no meat and wasn’t even visually appealing. Crab cakes were ok and was presented well. The pesto pasta was delicious with a side of grilled rosemary chicken and finally the gnocchi was the star dish for me personally as it was filled with flavors. My friends ordered beers and coke. It is a nice, cozy quiet place. Either for a Couple or a group it works well in my opinion ! If you happened to go, enjoy.

This place is AWESOME!!!! The wings to start were very tasty and flavor forward - I thoroughly enjoyed them! The clam linguine was BOMB and glad my friend snagged the last order - score one for the Seattle visitor! The Lobstahh roll was money, glad i snagged a bite but interested in comparing to Bar Harbor (heard they have the best in town!!). But the Brussels were the best thing of the night (even better than the booze!) - these things were heavenly and the glaze was phenomenal.

One of Seattle's great brunch stops. Only wonderful service and luscious food. Had the Shakshuka and mimosas - was gifted a coffee cake by the restaurant. Will miss the original Thackeray but excited for their new chapter (and wood fired pizza) - bring the swing back! I love the natural lighting of this building, a Fremont gem.

Supa yum! The breakfast board was perfect for me, being a refreshing and versatile Smorgasbord, with ample creamy almond butter and fresh fruit! Only downside is a companion I was with got his eggs benedict hard boiled (oops!) And requested a redo (but I'm not an eggs benedict expert by any means and all the food I tried was delicious!). Definitely a solid brunch spot choice. Shakshuka, malted pancakes and biscuits with sausage gravy all looked and sounded super good too!

We loved Thackeray! Brunch was delicious, and the atmosphere was really cool and perfect for brunch. It was chill at brunch - time, which is ideal, but after wandering around a little bit, we decided that we definitely need to come back for happy hour or late night drinks, because there are sections of the bar area that look like they could be really fun for a night out with friends.

12/22/18: Stopped in for brunch and was not disappointed. Ordered a half order of the biscuit and sausage gravy, short rib hash, and chicken and brie sandwich. There was a slight mix up with our order and the staff was so kind and apologetic about the mix up. The portions were just the right size although I did have to box up some of the short rib hash. Biscuit and sausage gravy: very flavorful, large chunks of sausage, biscuit nicely toasted and flaky. The potatoes were really good. Lightly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Poached eggs was done perfectly with the whites cooked and the yolk soft but not runny. Short Rib hash: reminded me of shepherds pie. Very rich wintery flavor. Ribs were tender and pulled apart easily. Over medium egg done just right. Chicken and brie sandwich: nicely toasted ciabatta that doesn't cut your gums when biting into it. Melty brie on grilled chicken breast with apples and grape relish.

Had been planning to try brunch here, then after reading some reviews decided not to wait and just go to dinner. Solidly run from top to bottom: atmosphere, menu, timing, staff... can't wait to come back. Large variety of generously-sized starters; we ordered entrees, but you could easily make a proper dinner of just shared small plates. Quietly mentioned our friend's birthday to our server while getting seated, and she promptly recommended 2-3 dessert options. Whispered our choice (a baked Alaska) and the surprise went off without a hitch after our table was cleared. Classy presentation: a single candle, spoons for all, no singing or fuss to embarrass the reluctant... so this place is on the special-dinners shortlist now as well. Noise level: Outdoor patio is *far* more quiet than sitting inside.

Excellent food! Best fried chicken I've ever had! Be sure you don't pass up on the fig and grapes with bacon appetizer or the chicken wings!

Today was the first time I had ever eaten at this restaurant. Wow, am I happy that I came! The ambiance was cozy, the service was good, and the food was outstanding! I had the hash which was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. I’m planning on becoming a regular at this place. Five stars!

Beautiful restaurant with amazing food and service! I dined solo for brunch and ordered a spicy bloody mary and the Ethiopian spiced chicken and pancakes. The Mary was spicy and strong - how it should be. The chicken was super tender and flavorful (strong flavors, not spicy - promise). The pancakes were massive and there were four of them! They were super fluffy and I lathered them up with that butter served on the side. Service was prompt and friendly. I hope to be back soon!
