The typical awesomeness you'd expect from Starbucks in the heart of Old Seattle.
I come here all the time, and the staff is so great here as with most Starbucks stores. I appreciate that the always remember my name, and their always glad you came (sorry, Cheers moment). Very cute store, feels very much like pioneer square with all the brick and the squeaky doors. The have a nice, mostly clean bathroom that you do need a code for access. There's not too many tables and chairs for sitting space, however I'm typically just running in and out on my way to work. There's probably like a dozen little table and like half a dozen stools to sit at, plus a couple more tables outside. They do close pretty early and the parking situation is exactly wonderful. The staff is really great here though, very friendly!
Best Starbucks. The staff here is very likable cast of characters. I especially like the friendly older asian lady (I forget the spelling of her name) as it's impossible to not to crack a smile when she's taking your order because she is always beaming with abundant positive energy!
The regional manager that runs the shoe and other Pioneer square stores is lazy or short sighted at the least the neighborhood deserves better. Actions closing smaller locations on weekends is unacceptable. With 30 to 50 people moving into the neighborhood a week the opportunity for promotion is ripe. Yet, the level of contempt for the neighborhood by forcing more inconvenient walks and enduring crowded and understaffed locations is disturbing. I visited 4 locations yesterday 30 to 45 minutes after opening and one scheduled to close for weekends soon. All crowded except those closed. A brawl broke out at the I.D. location where I settled to drink my morning coffee. Unacceptable!!!!!
I love the shoe the staff and the neighborhood promote the location don't close it to lose in the long run. It's my intention to promote a boycott of Starbucks food till the store is open daily.
My favorite Starbucks. Great employees who practically have my cup full before I even get to the counter because I'm a creature of habit and order the same thing every time. Sure, they're paid to care, but it never feels that way when they ask how my morning's going.
Just...mind the beggars. It is Pioneer Square after all. Avoid eye contact and use the upturned middle finger when they try to get your attention and they'll leave you alone and go bother someone else.
The service is friendly. The inside is really cold and the AC is blasting.
If you are a bald guy, bring a hat! 😂
You have to go through a darn hallway to use a bathroom shared with other businesses. You need a code, too. 😜
A down to earth and very friendly coffee shop. Directly across the street from a great hangout - Occidental Park. If you're not into the Starbucks thing....Cherry St Coffee is adjacent to the park...just on the other side
I haven't been in a Starbucks that operated like this in over a decade. The super friendly and efficient staff in this location are awesome. Well done!

Staff at this location are always working hard and this place is crazy busy surrounded by office workers. They will do anything to make you happy if your order gets messed up. They handle it really fast.
