The food was good! It isn't the best Thai food I've had but it is good enough that I'd come back to try again.
Good thai place here on Capitol hill. The kyoza and pineapple curry were great. Standard meat options with tofu steamed or fried for dishes on the menu. Portion size was good. Spicy level was good, you never know what you are going to get, but 3☆ had some heat. The servers were nice. Restaurant was clean not the fanciest bespoke thai place, but it was fairly priced. Will come again.
All the dishes were tasty and generatious portions. I got the eggplant with beef, pad thai with shrimp and tofu, and ton yum soup.
Tom yum soup is very large portion and very sour, just the way I like it. Eggplant and beef, beef pieces were bit dry but that is all the complaint I have. Pad thai is good, also. Pad thai us average sweetness which is bit too sweet for my taste, but they just come that way in American thai restaurants.
I now found my thai place in Seattle.
Bomb thai food. Spicy flavor was delicious. Curry was a good size.
This place is really good I had gotten the pad see eww and crispy spring rolls and fried crab rice so delicious I will definitely recommend this place to everyone else ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🙌🏾
Best Thai food in the area. The drunken noodles and green curry chicken are especially good. The rice is also perfectly cooked. Excellent quality.
We did Uber eats and the green curry was one of my favorite in Seattle. The fresh rolls have a nice unique flavor do to using fresh basil in the fresh roll.
I've been here few times and I think this is the best Thai food place in Seattle area. Sometimes maximum spicy level tastes different, but overall great food and great service.
What I like the most about Panwa Thai is the affordability. Dishes here are all under $10, but you're not sacrificing quality for price. You get a good amount of food and great quality for just $10. We thought the dishes were going to be small so we ordered 3 dishes for 2 people but this was way more food than we needed!
As for the food, we ordered the pad see ew (3 stars), pad kee mao (5 star), and the garlic lover. The food here is delicious! I absolutely loved the pad see ew and the 3 star spice was perfect for it. It isn't too oily, had a great flavor and is among some of the best pad see ew I've had, which is surprising for only $10. The garlic lover dish was also really delicious and flavorful too if you like garlic.
However, the pad kee mao was unfortunately ruined by choosing 5 star spice. I warn you to not get the 5 star spice as it just tastes AWFUL. Literally the only thing you'll taste is spice and pepper, none of the actual food. I usually always order 5 stars on my thai food and love the spiciness, but when the spiciness completely drowns out the actual flavors of the food, this means they put way too much. Definitely recommend going with 4 or less.
The service here was fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean but I kept noticing a ton of little fruit flies flying around our table, and even in the bathroom. Wasn't sure why there were so many in the restaurant but it was honestly a bit annoying to have to shoo them off every few mins.
Overall, Panwa Thai gets my vote for best affordable Thai restaurant! Prices here are cheaper than most places while still offering the same level of quality, if not even better. Food here is full of flavor as long as you don't get their 5 star spice level!
The small entrance hides a treasure. Very nice dishes, all vegetables were super fresh and top quality. Impecable place and super nice service. Best value around the area.
