I travel to Seattle about every 6 months, just because. And every time, I research where I'm going to eat. I had been looking forward to the quiche, and lightly sweet hot chocolate (love the hot chocolate, just usually way too sweet). Neither disappointed. The staff very gracious, service quick. Reason for a 4, cushions are very warn, tables hadn't been wiped down, and I was looking forward to my hot drink in a ceramic cup. I think I may have ordered a size that didn't come in a mug, just guessing. Other than that, a wonderful spot to sit, jazz music playing in the background, and a perfect view of Seattle rain
Great food, in particular the ham and cheese quiche. Really good coffee. The staff is what really makes this place stand out though. Always super friendly and welcoming. I happened to try it my first morning in town because of its location (which is also great) and came back every morning I was here.
Lovely spot for coffee and snack. Staff is friendly, drinks were delicious, nice to have hot food options such as egg muffin sandwiches, single serve quiche, and pastries. Nice mix of locals and tourist a like.
Appreciated the fact that when I ordered a hot chocolate, they asked my sweet preference. May seem insignificant to some but actually a nice touch to show that they do make it in house and not just a out of a sachet. Overall a nice place to support.
The best foam on the cappuccino. 🤌 This place is classy. Sprinkled sugar and chocolate on Capp gave it a swirl. Divine.
Great coffee in a sophisticated, yet comfortable environment. There are your basic coffee drinks, and I chose the cappuccino. It was perfect. There is bakery case full of pastry and breakfast items. I went with the turkey cheese breakfast croissant. It was good, but like many local coffee spots, they over-toasted it, to the point of burnt spots and edges. The barista seemed a little frazzled at opening. Overall, I would try this place again and really it’s more of a 41/2 ⭐️.
Best quiche I've had in ages (ever?), delicious macchiato, and great atmosphere
The mocha and oatmeal cookies were delicious, and the employees were very sweet.
Only negative thing is that I got the biscuit and jam, and the biscuit tasted kind of fishy? Not sure if I was imagining it.
Vanilla latte was really tasty! The staff was friendly. My coffee was ready fast but the sandwich I ordered took a way longer time to get warmed up.
First time visiting, and self-proclaimed coffee snob. Excellent espresso. Barista was knowledgeable and machine/grinder both dialed in very well. Parm bacon scone was a winner too. Nice job.
Grabbed a coffee and pastry here.
There is limited seating which is ok as it seems to be mainly used by other people for takeaway.
Coffee was good. Also a good selection of teas. Almond pastry was very good.
A busy place.
