Food ordered: Crisp Halibut Sandwich, Oyster Poboy, Sautéed Clams, and Croquettes Taste: The sandwich was a delicious and satisfying meal. The halibut was cooked perfectly and had a crispy batter that was not too thick or greasy. The coleslaw was fresh and flavorful, and the tartar sauce was tangy and creamy. The po'boy was a great option for those who love seafood. The oysters were plump and juicy, and the bread was soft and fluffy. The remoulade sauce was creamy and flavorful, and the po'boy was topped with fresh lettuce and tomato. Finally, the clams were cooked in a garlic and white wine sauce that was flavorful and not too salty. The croquettes were crispy and creamy, and they were a nice contrast to the clams. Price: Crisp Halibut Sandwich was $18.95, Oyster Po'boy was $17, Sautéed Clams was $17, and Croquettes was $6.95 bring the grand total to $68.02...with taxes $6.32 and a 3% surcharge $1.80 and no option for tipping. This fed a party of three about $22 per person. Service: The staff at The Salmon Cooker is friendly and knowledgeable. They are always happy to help you make a decision about what to order, and they are always happy to answer any questions you have about the food. Atmosphere: The atmosphere at The Salmon Cooker is casual and inviting. The restaurant is small and intimate, and it has a warm and welcoming atmosphere by the ocean. Presentation: The food at The Salmon Cooker is presented in a simple and elegant way. The dishes are not overly decorated, but they are still visually appealing. Overall, The Salmon Cooker is a great place to go for a delicious and unique and budgeted seafood experience. The food is fresh and flavorful, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is casual and inviting. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to eat in Seattle by the ocean.

My husband loves their smoked Halibut that we discovered over 10 years ago. So after we got off our cruise we decided to have lunch here. You order at the counter and wait for your food to be delivered to your table. Honestly, the smoked fish is delicious and their Halibut and chips was very good too. Staff was friendly and our food was hot when we got it. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it.

Food was good. I really liked the clam chowder. The fish and chips was mediocre. Fries weren’t the freshest but we got the fried cod and it was tasty. Best part of the dish was the tartar sauce and malt vinegar. Severs were kind enough to fill up my water bottle.

This is good for a quick bite. I had the smoked salmon and it was tasty and my husband had the cod 3 piece fish and chips. There are only potatoes and coleslaw as side options. It was mid price in my opinion. I think if would be great if there were a couple vegetables as a side option. Fish and chips were very good but greasy.

Wasn't busy when I went. I just got a bowl of clam chowder and it was enough for me for a quick meal before hopping on the Argosy Cruise. Liked all the open seating they had.

We ordered crab cakes and a crispy halibut po'boy sandwich and man, it was fantastic! The crab cakes were great but it was the halibut that might have been the best halibut I have ever had. My girlfriend's tastes are a bit more...uh..."particular" than mine so when she is enjoying her meal at a restaurant, it's quite relieving. Lol. She is one of those people that can identify every ingredient in her meal (as I am definitely not capable of that) and she was speaking raves about the halibut. We waited in the line to see Wings Over Washington but decided to try again the next day (the line was forever long) so we walked around the waterfront and came here. Really glad we did!

The clam chowder is fabulous here, and the sourdough bread is perfect - great flavor, crispy and chewy! We also ordered the crispy fish tacos and crispy fish sandwich and thought both were delicious! Rivals anything we’ve had in San Francisco!

The Salmon cooker is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. They have giant pan fried oysters and they are yummy!!!

Well…I ordered a po’ boy and thought it was coming from the Crab Pot kitchen 😢. How was I mistaken - the fish and chips and hamburgers maybe the safest things to enjoy here. The outside setting with beers is a plus.
