Great cafe! Incredible staff! Coffee and burrito was delicious. Price was super reasonable. Next time I'm in town I will be visiting again.
TLDR: inexpensive quality coffee and pastries with amazing service where everyone knows your name
We walked into the owner and his team member joyfully repotting a plant and felt the positive vibes right away. We ordered a pot of tea and a “kick in the face” and it was under $8 for so much caffeine! After staring at it a bit, I decided to order the peanut butter tart and boy it did not disappoint because it was… not too sweet 🤩
Almost every single person that came in was greeted by name and made jokes with the friendly owner and staff, would definitely come back!
TLDR: One of the kindest coffee experiences I've had in the city, and at half the price!
Finding a nice coffee place is a frustrating journey. A nice cup of coffee takes in a variety of factors like the quality of beans, the machine, how the water is poured, the milk, the mood of the barista at the time, etc. etc. For me many experiences have soured because one of these aspects is wrong in some way, or even worse- a mediocre experience for $7 +tip. I was floored today, not just from the amazing customer service offered from James and Laura behind the counter, but that the food/coffee order tasted amazing for the price I put into it. I went from having a hard morning to my entire day being made, and I am immensely grateful to the workers here who made a thirty second interaction all the better! The food is amazing, the customer service is incredibly welcoming, and you won't go wrong for a well made Americano that is less than $3(and tastes great to boot!)
James, I have an open tab that I intend to pay. I want to thank you and Laura again for making my entire day just a bit brighter!
One of my favorite local cafes; friendly staff; espresso drinks; pastries; breakfast sandwiches; breakfast burritos; muffins; cookies; located in the Lower Queen Anne neighborhood on Mercer St. across from Metropolitan Market, walking distance from Maxwell Pineapple Hotel, MarQueen Hotel, Mediterranean Inn, Cornish Playhouse, McCaw Hall, Seattle Center, Space Needle; support your local neighborhood coffee house and small businesses 👍
Great caffè! If you're in the area definitely stop in and get a drink. The coffee is amazing and the staff is super friendly. If I lived in the area this would definitely be my coffee spot.
Nice cafe with a welcoming atmosphere.. plenty of seating places and great service. Enjoyed the cranberry almond biscotti, curry burrito and chai latte
We live down south in Vancouver but often come up to Seattle for the weekend but this was our first time stopping in and we’re so glad that we did. The baristas were welcoming and friendly, love the vibe of the cafe and the art work is pleasing to the eye; I even saw a few pieces I’d like to purchase.
We ordered various iced lattes and teas which were very good especially the Nutella latte. However the star of the show was the peanut butter tart, and that is something I’d like to buy in bulk 🤤 can’t wait to go back!
I’ve lived in this neighborhood 2 years and this place is by far my most FAVORITE coffee I’ve ever been to. Every single one of the staff is truly amazing and I ALWAYS feel so welcome when I come in. I could literally stay and chat for hours with these folks. The coffee, the food, the atmosphere is top notch and I can’t recommend them enough.
This place is so good!!! This was only my second time in, and the coffee is always amazing. Exactly what you'd expect from a nice Seattle coffee shop 🙌🏼👏🏼 Loved the Broken Umbrella latté, which comes with honey, vanilla and cinnamon! Also the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito was the perfect size - not to big or too small. Great snack on-the-go paired with my coffee!
What a great little find for our quick weekend visit to Seattle. Our barista was awesome and so friendly! True Seattle hospitality! Coffee and food was amazing! Highly recommend for a quick caffeine fix with some simple ambiance.
