Macleod's Fish & Chips And Scottish Pub - Seattle - Photo album

Macleod's is a bar with pub food right on Ballard Ave on the corner. Parking around here can be tough since it's such a busy area so be prepared to walk. They have dozens of tables inside, but on the main floor and upstairs as well as about a dozen tables outside. They have a small menu, but have a
First time in and I love it! Very cozy, my British friend says very good British style fish and chips (her family is actually highlands clan so her taste covers Scotland as well). Service was very friendly and attentive AND when we arrived with our friend with mobility issues they cleared (as in ask
The best Fish & Chips I have had since I have lived in the USA!! (I have been here 8 years and lived in 3 states) We came on a Friday night & they had a Bagpiper playing live which was great fun & created a really enjoyable environment.
Delicious Scottish Bar and Restaurant! Children aren't allowed in the main bar area but are allowed on the patio or in the back. Spacious inside. 250 types of scotch! We went for the salmon fish and chips which were amazing. The curry dipping sauce with the fish and chips is a must. And the clam cho
Dark, vibey, and excellent fish and chips, good range of Scotch flights, great cocktails. Downstairs is more traditional bar seating but don’t sleep on going upstairs, cool little corners for 5-6 person groups. 21+ so a nice adult vibe but no crazies.
The fish & chips were excellent, traditional beer battered and fresh tasting! We had cocktails and beer with our lunch seated at the bar. The building is almost 100 years old with cool front doors! There are lots of photos and artworks throughout the establishment and plenty of seating. They have a
Very lively place! And great staff!! Go here if you want some smooth Scottish whiskey! Our group tried their flights - Highland and a Tour of Scotland! Everyone loved it so much we ended up ordering more! I do wish that they add some vegetarian options to the menu, apart from chips(fries)!
The staff members here are always a pleasure. Servers are lively and chipper, kitchen staff seems to be singing and having fun and the bar tenders know what they are doing. Great place for a glass of scotch during a rainy night.
Love this place! I come at least once a month for their fish tacos. The spicy ancho sauce they serve with them is amazing. Super friendly, great outdoor and indoor space. Great whisky menu
The fish is cooked fantastically, soft flaky inside with an incredibly crunchy beer batter. There are non-alcoholic drink options, however they are prepared by just not adding in the alcoholic ingredients. A great spot for a whiskey and a quick bite to eat.
This place is a gem! So cozy! Prices don't bite and the food was very well done! We tried fish and chips, deep fried eggs, chowder and fish tacos - all superb!
You won't find a pub like this in Scotland because perfect pubs like MacLeod's are a thing of the past in Scotland. And they don't serve food like this in Scotland! Fresh ingredients bursting with flavor. And generous portions. MacLeod's in Ballard is a perfect Scottish pub that's not in Scotland. I
I've been to Scotland many times and constantly try to find a bar here in the US that will give me a similar experience to that of one there. This is the best Scottish bar one can ever go to here in the US. There's no comparison! This place is amazing! Despite not having Bellhaven on draft they do
Had fish tacos,delish...not a large menu, but good. Large selection of beers, some Scottish, of course. The bar area was a bit dark, but appropriate for a Scorrish Bar. Also, outdoor seating.
One of my favorite places to go for a drink! And my husband who is British h says their fish and chips is the best in the city.
I wanted to fold this place up, put it in my pocket, and bring it back to Nashville with me. If our weather were a better fit, maybe.... The last time I had a McEwan's was in Oban in front of a peat fire. My Saturday evening pint at Mcleod's felt a whole lot like that day long ago - cold, wet weath
Great old Town Ballard pub. Had a great chicken Ceasar salad here for lunch today. Friendly staff and quick service. Wear your mask as requested and enjoy the space. We visit when we come down to the farmers market.
Amazing atmosphere. Great, friendly staff and clientele, and of course, great Scotch Whisky to go around. Their whisky collection is extensive! The food I've had there was also quite pleasant too. I really enjoy the two stories they have here, you can get either the bustling bar environment or up an
