Perfect cafe! Caffe Umbria has it all. Excellent coffee, great atmosphere with lots of space to work and even sparkling water. Additionally, they have wine which I did not try this time.

Highly recommend their seasonal coffees; the cardamom maple late is mind-blowing. The honey oat latte is also excellent. The staff was very friendly, and the vibes were on point.

Everything I want in a small neighborhood coffee shop, with optional outside seating, chill atmosphere, and quick coffee service. Near many of the other Ballard sites to make it a nice spot to take a break and fuel up.

The Ballard branch of Caffe Umbria. Newer more modern than the Occidental branch, but still with similar rustic vibes. Wine bar at the back for evening imbibers. Glorious chandeliers draping from the tall ceilings. Good table setup for working, with a chill sofa area in the front too.

Stopped by to grab an iced latte in Ballard. Next door to a tea house (if you’re not a coffee fan). Spacious interior with couch and comfy chairs, tables and small bar seating area. There is also outdoor seating, which was all take . The staff was friendly and laid back.

Nice location. Good coffee and a super cozy ambient. If you like lavender I recommend trying lavender latte. It is a sweet latte with lavender touch.

Very nicely decorated cafe with great coffee! They have dairy free milk alternatives and bathrooms are open right now!

I like this place so much I’m becoming a regular. Drinks are always on point, service is great and atmosphere is nice. There’s a variety of indoor seating (table & chairs, bar style, couch) and small amount of outdoor seating right in front. I’m always treated very well by staff. It has beautiful and classy decor inside and this coffee shop is more “elegant” than others if you will. Umbria is my top coffee at home so it’s only natural that I appreciate their shops. The noise level is a little greater than other places with the high ceilings and music but it’s still very comfortable to work out of. Patrons are also respectful of each other.

Cute location located in the heart of Ballard with indoor and outdoor seating. It has some of the classical cafe sensibilities like the exposed brick and large Italian espresso machine, but it still has some charm like the standing tables in the center and the leather couch. The seating is a little lacking overall, we went late Saturday afternoon and all the tables were taken except outside. We ordered a Cappuccino and chocolate coconut snack and they were both quite good, albeit expensive for $10 and change. Overall, it's a nice place to come with friends, but don't be surprised if you have to wait for a table and spend a few extra bucks.
