I just moved to Seattle and I thought I'd try Peet's coffee as I was on my way home. Wow! The staff are very friendly, and I felt like the barrista actually cared about the latte she was making for me. She even poured the frothed milk so as to make a pretty design on top! And it tasted awesome! This is now my coffee stop of choice...Starbucks lattes now seem watery and bland and lack the amount of frothed milk that Peet's lattes have. (Iced lattes here are awesome, as well!)

This place always stands out to me as being just about the best you can do with "corporate" coffee. Staff are fantastic. Location is excellent. The store layout is great how they have the little sideways register where they greet you and take your order. Wish there was more seating on the street level but the upstairs is great.
