Came for brunch with some friends. This place is nice but parking on a weekend is tough in the downtown area. The valet is free for 2 hours so that is good. Tried the lox and bagels which was good. My wife tried the crab Benedict which was okay as well but had a lot of spinach for her liking. The potatoes that came along were really great. The staff was friendly and very helpful specifically since we were late for our reservation. We barely made it by closing time and they were very accommodating. The service was super fast as well.

Wagyu burger was tasty and the subbed out fingerlings for me to accommodate dairy intolerance (versus potato cake)!

Never had better eggs Benedict. We came here for breakfast, complimentary with our hotel stay. We were surprised by all the amazing dishes on the menu. All the portions were quite large and satisfied our appetites after hiking for hours the previous day. Everything tasted to perfection. Fresh orange juice, friendly staff, and quick service. 10/10 recommend.

Had steal cut oats: delicious. The food came out promptly, and the server was nice. Everyone enjoyed their meals and it was super helpful.they broke up the checks for a big party, most places won't do that. Lots of breakfast options and everything tasted fresh and was well presented. Would def go again.

Bar/restaurant on 1st floor of the Thompson Hotel near Pike Place Market in Seattle. Opens up to an outside section on nice days. Classy, cool and comfortable.

Hotel restaurants can do often be an underwhelming experience, but happily Conversation is excellent. The food is delicious with inspired ingredients, the cocktails are great and innovative, and the service very attentive.
But beyond that, I must say that the atmosphere at Conversation is special. I don't honestly know what it is, but coming for dinner in the evening, it just feels so relaxing and intimate. The gentle lighting, the bronze silverware, the glow from the windows, maybe it's all these things and more, there's just an attention to detail that makes itself known subliminally that just makes dinner here wonderful.
They also do breakfast which didn't leave the same impression on me. I'd much more recommend dinner.

Food so good the conversation is going to be silent! The smash burger was divine and was prepared extremely well. Full of flavour and incredibly filling. Upbeat restaurant with a nice bar. Definitely a local hangout. Service was good and the waiter was always checking up on me. I enjoyed the location and is insulated from the street which is great. Recommend visiting.

We ordered breakfast in bed, and enjoyed the spread that was prepared for us.
My wife and I ordered the brunch and booze combo.
I had a mocha w/oat milk with a classic Benedict. All very good except the hollandaise sauce seemed coagulated and not enough flavor from it;I didn't get any additional flavor from it. Maybe more lemon or something needed?
My wife had the chai latte with oat milk and ordered the avocado toast to eat. The avocado toast was much bigger than expected and definitely was filling. Left without feeling guilty about it, and the flavors were all there. Very flavorful. There was a distinct flavor we absolutely enjoyed, but wasn't sure about what it was--possibly the tomato chutney.
With that combo also came mimosas, orange or grapefruit. We decided on grapefruit and found it to be delicious.
Service was hospitable and timely. Not the cheapest experience ever, but we really enjoyed it.

Went for dinner and drinks before a show at the Can-Can. Drinks were very delicious. The food was good, but portion size on the sharable apps seemed meager. Mains were pretty solid, but forgettable. Honestly I'd probably only come for drinks again. The atmosphere seems really nice, but the service can be odd so it doesn't quite match the expected appearance of the place.

On a whim, my wife and I decided to do a breakfast date here one morning. We like to try new things on dates so I decided to go with eggs Benedict, the same as my wife. I never order eggs Benedict, as poached eggs are very regularly poorly cooked and executed in a dish.
These poached eggs were masterfully done, to the point where we came back the next morning and I actually ordered the same dish again. This is uncharacteristic for me and speaks volumes to the quality of the chef and the subordinate staff.
If you are in need of high quality breakfast in a peaceful atmosphere this is the place. I do recommend that you set aside time to properly enjoy your meal. This is not your local mom and pop diner, this is where you go when you want high end, enjoyable breakfast and staff that reflects that.

Absolutely exceptional and one of the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Service perfect. Seating perfect. Food perfect. Decor was tasteful but not overdone. An absolute highlight of an experience that makes other good restaurants look bad by comparison — and our server Blake gets high marks too.
We were seated away from people with a reasonably sized party and had plenty of attention without feeling burdened by it. Everything from the menu to the flatware felt fun and creative and “on brand” with a cohesive “conversation” theme that takes after the restaurant’s namesake.
It’s not cheap, all things considered; you’ll pay $100 a person if you consider tip and 3 courses, as may be suggested by the menu itself - but you could walk in and out for $60-100 if you really played it close to the vest and 2 people got simple entrees, and a few additions.
Creative, comfortable, quality, would go back in a heartbeat! 10/10

Food was delicious. I had a cocktail I didn’t like, but they promptly replaced it. The cauliflower appetizer was delicious, but definitely a bit small. Truffle fries didn’t disappoint, though instead of mayo, it would’ve been nice to have a lemon or red pepper aioli. The burrata was delicious with the root veggies and squash.
For entrees, the pork collar was amazingly flavorful and the chimichurri and whatever the other sauce made the dish incredibly delicious. The mushroom pasta was a little gummy, but the flavor was perfect. It was like mac & cheese though, so we were happy to share it. The burger was enormous, but a little overdone for a medium, but the bacon was delicious.
The dessert was delicious. We got the chocolate crème brûlée and it had notes of orange and caramel. It was spectacular.
Service was perfect. I did find it odd that they charge the 20% service charge, but they don’t give most of that to the server (it’s printed on the bill). That price should just be reflected in the food price instead of taking it out of server tips. They should fix that.
