Super delicious, fresh Ethiopian dishes. We had several dishes, both vegetarian and meat dishes, and they were all superb. Light, no grease, flavorful. The service was very friendly. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in town!

My first experience of Ethiopian food, and how amazing it was at Jebena Cafe 🤩. I found it just like home made Indian food. We tried Meat combo 3 which had chicken, lamb and lentil gravies. We also ordered Doro Wot but had to pack it for home as we were all full with combo only 😊
I highly recommend visiting this place.

My boyfriend and I visited this place, and we instantly knew it was going to become our comfort food for as long as we are in seattle! Cozy inside, VERY fresh ingredients, really great value for how full we both were by the end of the night! The flavors were so distinct and delicious, and the appetizers were both so flavorful, warm, and delicious. We hope they continue to thrive and be blessed!

What an unexpected treat! We looked for a local lunch restaurant while in the neighborhood, and Jabena Cafe was so good we will be back. It is cheerful, pretty and immaculate inside. The Samosa was the best I have ever had anywhere. We got a meat sampler, #18, and brought whatever we could not eat home. It was delicious, with tender meat, flavorful. Very pleasant experience!

The owner, chef, and server is precious. The food is cooked with heart and has great flavor. The beans (garbanzo and lentil) dishes shine. The meat accentuates the sauces, but the sauces are the stars of the meal. The injera are the perfect size and consistency for collecting the food, adding a little sourness.
And, of course, the coffee has interesting tasting profiles. It was not served in Berber style, but was still worth every drop.

When I lived a couple of blocks away this was a weekly eat of mine. I’ve since moved out of state and currently having my partner pick up a Togo order and have him drive it 8 hours to our new home. It’s that good people! You can purchase spices next door to jazz up your life! Pictured is the jebena combination. It’s so much food we always take some home. The owner Martha is the sweetest individual you’ll ever meet. I hope she and her family are doing well.

Jebena is a warm and cozy place with a lovely owner and great food. As most reviews have mentioned, the owner is warm and welcoming, and she even checked on us regularly for the quality of the food and any questions we had.
We ordered the Meat Combination 2 and the amount of food was more than enough for 2 hungry people. The dish comes with 9 items on an Injera, and you get 2 extra on the side. The Injera is perfect and not overly sour and the combination of meat, lentils, cheese and veggies goes great with it.
We also ordered samosas, coffee and a mango juice. The Samosas had a nice and crispy cover and tasty filling. It comes with a green sauce/chutney which pairs well with it. I love cappuccino, so I wanted to try it here as they roast their own beans. The aroma of the coffee was lovely and I'm dying to have another cup again soon. I also ended up purchasing a bag of their medium roast beans.
Overall, if you're thinking of having Ethiopian, I can't recommend this place enough.

This restaurant is nestled in a charming neighborhood plaza, which also houses two other eateries. Despite being a bustling hub, we managed to secure a table and were promptly greeted by the friendly owner. Our order comprised a deliciously satisfying mix of meat and veggie dishes, with an additional meat plate to round out the meal for our group of five. However, the true star of the show was the in-house injera, which proved to be one of the best I've ever tasted, bursting with mouthwatering flavors.
Although it's worth noting that the restaurant doesn't serve any beer or wine, we found the overall dining experience to be a delightful one. While it may not be worth a special trip, if you happen to be in the area, it's worth stopping by.

My husband took me out on my birthday and i must say what a friendly customer service. One of the must try Ethiopian restaurants at a reasonable price. We tried the Jebena Combination and it's really a lot for 2 people. I felt the spinach veggie mix in the combo tasted better than the protein. Overall, it's bit similar to South Indian food. Quite Neighborhood. The location is bit far from the main road but no issues if you have your vehicle.

Greeted so sweetly as we walked in. We were made to feel very welcome. We ordered the large combo meal for 3 people so we got a taste of everything. Delicious food eaten by hand. We also ordered the okra with beef which was yummy. Excellent prices. Will definitely come back.
