No food trucks around. Wished they had some food options of their own. We went to another place for food and beer, but did come back to try the beer at Lucky Envelope and I have to admit it was better than the first place we went to.

Red envelopes, more commonly known as Hong Bao (in Mandarin) or Lai See (in Cantonese), are monetary gifts presented by elders at social and family gatherings to the younger generations. The red envelopes symbolize good luck, prosperity and are thought to ward off evil spirits. Lucky Envelope Brewing was born from the owner’s cherished memories of these gifts growing up, and particularly around Chinese New Year. Our favorite two beers were the “Tropicoolship” and their “Raspberry Sour Ale.” Tropicoolship is a barrel-aged sour that’s funky (in a good way) and peachy. The Raspberry Sour Ale is perfectly tart with lots of raspberry nose and flavor. Lucky Envelope Brewing makes a wide variety of traditional and modern brews, but as this is a Melissa post – I stuck with sours.

The pandan almond milk stout and halo halo sour were two of the best beers I’ve ever had! Honestly so impressive!

I really want to love this place. The beer is great. Atmosphere is great. Food truck selection is great, but wow....point of sale efficiency is borderline infuriating. The line to get a beer is nearly 20 minutes. With at least 5 other breweries right next door, it's an easy way to bleed customers

Solid place in a quiet neighborhood. A dozen different beers with a range to please everyone. Friendly staff (Will). Good amount of seating both inside and outside. Dog friendly. Walking distance to several other breweries and cider taprooms.

I came here for year of the rabbit celebration. My first experience here. Had the Water Rabbit Yuzu Pilsner that was really smooth and tasteful. (I'm not a beer drinker). Good, really good, foodtruck posted outside at beer garden. I had the Happy Meal. OMG! So much to try and all of it so good! Great service! I totally forgot this gals name but she was just adorably helpful. Thank you! Sorry, I didn't realize my camera blurred the awesome menu in the back. But great selection

Sam and I shared a flight and we were both impressed with how good the beers were. The staff was super friendly. They give you a red envelope when you order your beer that has a prize written down inside. I won a tee shirt. Sweet.

We visited Lucky Envelope while visiting from the East Coast. We travel a lot and go to a lot of breweries so we have an idea of what quality beer tastes like. We were HIGHLY impressed with Lucky Envelope. Everything we had was really good across all the styles. The place has really good ambience including indoor and outdoor seating. The staff couldn't have been nicer. If we lived in this area we would be here all the time!

Perhaps my favourite microbrewery in Seattle. Great variety of beer and I enjoyed the Chinese theme (lucky/red envelope). Nice decorations on the building as well. Worth the visit if you're in the area!

Very chilled out brewery, I liked their friendly staff. Covid precautions are being taken well. But I saw few people forgetting their masks or wearing their masks under their nose . But all in all good experience, tasty beer, extremely delicious flavours. We bought a tray of 12. It's a must visit brewery in terms of the flavours they have. We didn't buy any snacks not we got any peanuts with our beer. I was diabetic & I got my own snacks to eat which they allowed me easily , so it's much easier to come at this place & get a beer !! End note- restroom was very clean too. My favorite flavor - peanut butter absolutely delicious like coffee cocoa peanut butter 😋
