The burger I had was excellent, and I had the Sunset drink to go with it. Very refreshing! Service was excellent, and theres a very comforting atmosphere. Definitely not too busy on a monday evening, and the mix of Bowie, Queen and similar music is very good. My only complaint (which isnt a huge deal because I had an excellent burger) is that they were out of the brisket mac and cheese i originally wanted, but that's just one more reason to come back!

Good drinks and good patio give Brass Tacks a nice vibe. The brussel sprouts were very good! One suggestion would be to cut down the salt. We couldn't taste much flavor behind the salt assault. I wouldn't want to see the nutrition info!

If you’re looking for a different and eclectic place to eat, this is a good choice. They have a good patio off the sidewalk, where you can watch as the cargo planes descend into the Boeing airstrip nearby, as well as the freight chain nearby. It was way too hot to sit inside, but it looked like people were having a good time listening to the live guitar and piano music played later in the evening. Their food is tasty, however for the price and portions my tablemates were disappointed. My friend ordered a vegan watermelon salad, but it was a small plate with a few chunks of watermelon, some pistachios and 4-5 pieces of greens. The bangers and mash were tasty, the gravy served with it was very good. The brisket Mac and cheese was a decent portion and my friends enjoyed it. Our server was a little inattentive but it didn’t seem like there was a huge amount of staff working for a Friday. If you want good food but are willing to pay a little more, this is a good choice.

Is a very neat place to hang out and grab a drink. Located in George town. They do offer outside seatings in the summer. The beacon was so yummy. Be sure to give it a try if you stop by this place.

Just had myself, quite possibly, the best burger. Enjoyed the cozy ambiance as well.

Great spot, feels cool and maybe a little edgy. Lots of metal and Dali-esque art. Staff are occasionally less than warm, though I've never had bad service either. Some awesome and relatively creative food, love the chilaquiles and any omelette they serve up is sure to please. I'm still trying to find the right occasion to get friends in on their hog roast, sounds incredible. If you happen to grab a seat in the front window area, keep your jacket on, but the freezing air coming in is worth it for the snap I didn't catch of the glass bottle terrarium 😍 Please share if you happen to get it, it made me smile!

Great atmosphere, lovely staff, delicious food! The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is because I have a ton of food allergies, and there were only two things on the menu I could really eat, even modified. So that was a little disappointing, but those two things (the beet salad, and the chili, both w/o their dairy components) were very tasty. I'd definitely go back just to hang out. Oh, and the hot buttered rum is a *must* for buttered rum lovers. Incredible! :-)

My wife and I have been here loads of times for happy hour. We had our first Moscow Mule here, it was delicious. It can get crowded in the evenings but it's a very nice place.

We are always coming in here at the last minute to get some late-night food. Their late happy hour is a life-saver and has the most delicious poutine, plus a perfect burger combo order. I didn't love the spinach dip but everything else I've had here is great! Get there early for nights with live music.

I've loved Brass Tacks ever since I went there for brunch 3 years ago. The food was great, decor on point, superbly crafted cocktails, and pleasant waitstaff. The best part was the DJ playing 70s R&B. Yay! I haven't been back on a Sunday in over a year, so not sure if it's still a musical enhanced brunch. If not, they should do it again. If so, good on them.
