Easily the cutest breakfast place in Seattle. A little out of the way, but is very well worth it. The staff is SO friendly and the food the best we've found in the area.

Clouds, rain and cold disburse on entering Hudson's warm, homey interior where you find a seat at the bar or table and much love on the menu. Asking our server if the Huevos Ranchiros was GOAT or hit the Brisket Omelet, he said Brisket and I said side of sausage gravy, and he said, "Well played, my friend." My first bite heralded a first - seriously, the omelet left me saying, "Oh Jesus" out loud right there in the restaurant. Yes, that good. What's more, the sausage gravy was the best I've ever had. Pro Tip: attempting this portion solo is IMPOSSIBLE. Share or doggy bag or risk serious repercussions.

Great service and atmosphere with lots of drink options. More of Southern style breakfast menu. The gravy was not the best and the bloody Mary was extremely horseradish heavy. If that is up your alley you will love it, but personally I was not a fan. I like a good kick but this had so much horseradish it overpowered everything else in the drink and I just couldn't finish it. The brisket omlette was very good!

Very cozy restaurant/bar. Service was good, very nice and polite. Breakfast was very tasty. Price is okay. Only 21+ allowed. Nice for a calm morning mood.

Fantastic brunch divebar that should not be missed. The Monte Cristo was the best I've ever had; no one else seems to use enough cheese! The hot toddy was delightful, and the Irish coffee warmed my soul. I had this place on my "want-to-go" list for entirely too long, and now I know where to go every Sunday morning.

Breakfast or brunch for me always means grits. But not many places have them on the menu in Seattle. I can now place Hudson in my rotation. First and foremost, they serve great and generous cocktails if libation is important to your brunch options. I had a sip of my first Bloody Mary and I was greatly surprised that it hit every important palate stimulation for me. Very intense tomato flavor, good citrus backnote and a heady compliment of horseradish with a generous portion of vodka, nicely garnished with lime and lemon wedges and olives. Mary comes with a stubby Miller High LIfe side. I’ll be back for that one! I had a Salty Dog that was heavy on the hair of the dog! We ordered fish and grits for breakfast, but it was really a sandwich option that we made into a breakfast by adding soft scrambled eggs and cheese. The grits are yellow stone ground and well flavored. Personally, I like my grits a bit more creamy, but they did not otherwise disappoint. My sister and I watched as other breakfasts passed by us headed to different tables. The chicken fried steak seems to be a popular item, along with the biscuits and gravy. Portions are generous and looked good enough to lure me back to experience more of their menu items. If you are looking for a less familiar location for brunch, I suggest you give Hudson a try.

If you’re looking for a small cozy place to chum it up with the locals this is a great choice. Whether you want a beer, breakfast or dinner they have decent options. The service was amazing and we were lucky to walk right in and get seated. This place is small so I suggest you call ahead during peak hours. I ordered Fish and chips ( subbed grits for coleslaw) so I’m only giving four stars because the fish was soggy and all of the breading came off. It also had no taste of flavour not even a little bit. The grits were amazing and the portions were decent sized for the price. I’d go back for a beer to socialize and to try one of their salads, brisket omelette or the catfish. My husbands shrimp and grits were delicious and even he couldn’t eat it all.

Have been wanting to come here for years. I'm so glad I finally was able to stop by. Service is on point as well as their food. The hash browns were beyond perfect. So many wonderful flavors. The hardest part was being able to decide what to order. Pro tip, bring someone willing to share & swap half of their entree so you can try multiple things. Lol

Came in on Easter Sunday so it was very quiet. Apparently, this place PACKS out. So be aware that there will likely be a wait if you come any other day. The food is incredible, the drinks are mind blowing. The coffee is SO GOOD. And the staff all seems like they love their jobs. You know the staff is being taken care of when the employees are smiling all around. What an amazing environment! Can’t wait to bring everyone we know here!
