Absolutely great service, my glass of water was never empty and the staff was very attentive and kind. The food is delicious, and comes with a very nice presentation. This restaurant is one of my favorites in the neighborhood for Indian cuisine, they have a buffet available for lunch and offer comfy booths for seating. Thank you!
I’ve dined in and taken out a couple times. Their food is overall good. I will definitely go again. If you get takeout, they do skimp a bit. Most recently, my Butter Chicken had maybe 5 bites of chicken in the whole container, which is not worth $17. Whereas, in person we had plenty of food for dinner and leftovers.
Included a photo of one of our takeout containers for reference (it is tikka masala).
So let’s talk about some tasty, fresh food.
Definitely on point tomato soup & Indian Salad… Aloo Paratha bread…I got 2.. mmm… 🤗
…
Sadly the buffet isn’t open at this time…
…
If the standoffish behavior of the staff gets to you- try to remember that’s also called formalist & professional all over the world…

I found this to be a wonderful experience… great music… nice atmosphere… & Clean…
THE SPOT! Their lunch buffet (not currently offered, much to my dismay) allows one to have an INSANE amount of butter chicken and naan for an extremely affordable price. Outside of buffet time, the food is still reasonably priced with the benefit that you can adjust the spice levels to what your taste buds can handle. The buffet versions are always very mild to accommodate everyone. I can say with a lot of confidence that I've eaten at least my full weight in Indian food at this place. While it's not the cutest store-front, it is located in a very cute neighborhood of Seattle that is quite walkable...at least before you eat...afterward, be prepared to be in a food coma for a while.
Went there last night again, feel like have to change from five start to four, the food was good, it is slow but since they have a lot of customers. Where the star drops is the service, very hard to get attention, they forget to provide the appetizer bread until we asked, and my water comes 5 minutes later after I order, ////////The food were so delicious, a bit spicy but really delicious; the service were really good, considerate waiters and waitress. We feel one dish was too spicy, they insist to redo it for us even though we said it is ok, and give us a free juice to cool down the spicy. And the price was so reasonable, we ordered 4 dishes, totally after tax less than 40 bucks. I will definitely recommend.
Ok so the consensus is that this could be probably the best Indian place in Roosevelt. They have Chole Bathure and Amritsari Naan which is unique as this is the only place in Roosevelt that serves that.
Their chats are great too and are easy on the pocket.
We have been sleeping on this location for way too long. We are usual patrons of Taste of India but was blown away by the food here at India Bistro. We ordered butter chicken, lamb curry, palak paneer and an eggplant dish. All dishes had such a flavorful profile and $3-4 cheaper than Taste of India. The portion sizes were incredible and they keep the dishes warm by serving them in a metal dish with a tea light candle underneath. Loved that! Can’t wait to try their other dishes!
So delicious! We love this restaurant. Mango chicken is my favorite dish & it comes with so many yummy vegetables and rice. $20 for a huge amount of incredible food. Very sweet owner with great staff. Definitely one of our top favorite places to go!
We got butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan! We both shared the rice. Super delicious and very filling! I definitely enjoyed the dishes, and it being my first time having Indian cuisine, was spectacular!
Everyone was very welcoming and the space was warm and not super busy.
Mango Chicken was so so good! Not too sweet, spice level 3 was perfect!
