Yea! Good sister, good friends, good food. Met with some dear friends here, me and my sister. Good folks working. Our waitress had fangs. Lots of Halloweeness. Breakfast! I ate the one egg, one sausage, one potatoes, one toast meal. Tiny and enjoyable. Conversation and coffee and a stroll through the Farmers Market followed.

I would definitely comeback to this restaurant. To try their food it seems the specialize in comfort food but updated. The chicken fried chicken dish was really good I liked everything about it. Except the Italian seasonings that was used in the country gravy. Since the had hatch Chile hot sauce on the table that helped tamed the Italian seasonings. I just personally do not like Italian seasoning. I really liked the fact they make their own hashbrowns. Instead of using frozen stuff. The chorizo breakfast was good too only issue was too much cheese but that’s my personal opinion. The cheese was dominating over the chorizo flavor. It took me a 20min to decide on what to order since there was so many good options for breakfast. They do offer happy hour so hopefully I can catch that menu the next time I am out in Ballard.

One of my favorite places in Seattle, Hattie’s Hat in Ballard is a great place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, and the bar is super fun too. Great historic Seattle spot.

Such a unique place for brunch in Downtown Ballard. The food was so delicious that it made the 20min wait worth it. Luckily they text you updates and when the table is available, so we enjoyed walking around the Ballard Farmers Market. Had the Austin Scramble and an Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese 🤤. Definitely coming back!

I was this many days old when I realized I've been missing out on this place my entire seattle life. I've driven past this place so many times and never took it serious. Well on this day my original restaraunt was out of all the good stuff so I decided to try something else in the area. I was parked next to the sign and figured u guess today is the day. I came on a Monday morning and the place had maybe 2 or 3 available. My gloomy morning turned around when I saw the menu. So many items on the menu I wanted to try. I settled on the breakfast Sammie and I was not disappointed. Probably the best smothered breakfast sandwich I've ever tried. Very rich in flavor. Almost too rich. The biscuit was amazing and I wish more was on the side to enjoy without all the gravy. Very appropriate portion for the cost. I love their affordable pricing. I swear many places have removed small priced items, but you can make it your own here and not be mad at your customized breakfast price. Wait they give you biscuits as a starter for free and it comes with a variety of spreads. Yes the desire for more biscuit was satisfied before I even had it. It was so yummy I saved half for a sweet treat after I was done with the main course. You get your monies worth here and luckily you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for it. The service was equally as amazing as the food. There was maybe 1 or 2 servers on duty and they were busy. I only seen 1 server and yes she was busy. Somehow she was able to serve us in a timely manner as if she wasn't solo. I was very impressed and sure to tip appropriately. Servers out there take note. The place gave 4 star world class service which for seattle is 5 stars shining. I always judge a place by its cleanliness which is also jidge by the drinking water. My utinsils and drinking glasses where very clean. The water was on point, so clean without weird tastes. The interior of the place was probably the lowest point. Not bad, very typical of a ballard joint. Really could use some work when comparing to other uoscale places In the area. I'll take decor this over higher prices on any day forsure. Parking in the area is not good but not the worst. The restaraunt is about a block away mass street parking so you should get lucky with a close enough spot. Especially compared to the other spots in this area. It gets so crowded. Good luck and enjoy

History and comfort food. Over 100 years old and with a hand-carved bar to prove it. This has been a dive bar and a restaurant... and it's currently both. You are mostly looking at stand American grill food, with an emphasis on breakfast all day. If you're an eggs benedict fan, just go for it. The burgers are fine, too. Service is good. If you haven't been here, you owe it to yourself to try it at least once....

Delicious food and great service. Outside dining. Chicken fried chicken, Spinach casserole and mashed potatoes with Guinness gravy were delicious!

The food are good and survive is friendly! We ordered hippie scramble and max wich. Hippie scramble is good. The side is zucchini scramble eggs, it’s light but tasty, I like it. If you don’t wanna eat a full meal, maybe max wich is a good option. It’s a burger with cream cheese, an egg, and bacon. It tasty as well. For the drink, we order a jar of peach mimosa. It’s okay but more like an orange mimosa 😅

Food was pretty good!! Self seating is nice and service arrived pretty fast, as well as food and drinks once ordered. Nice place to get breakfast any time of the day, mimosas all day too 😭. Prices were adequate for the quality as well, around $60 for two people with drinks. Would definitely come back!
