Little gem! Great service and happy hour. The oysters were amazing! not just the oyster itself but the sheet of ice on the serving platter and the vinaigrette it was served with. Very cool. Loved the ambience as well! Look forward to the rest of the menu ..
I really enjoyed Frank's atmosphere/ambience. They put a lot of thought into creating a relaxed and approachable upscale oyster house.
I tried their famous chicken, black cod, and oysters. The oysters stood out as the best, boasting a refreshing, delicious flavor. The black cod was also a delightful treat. Regrettably, the chicken fell short of expectations due to an excessive saltiness in its seasoning. However, the well-balanced mashed potatoes accompanied it nicely.
I must also commend our server, who provided exceptional service with a friendly and attentive demeanor.
Very fun experience at Frank's tonight. The baked oysters bingo and the deviled eggs were fabulous.
Really good bacon, donuts, waffle, chicken &waffle. Not a fan of the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits are dense. The gravy is a dark gravy. Maybe some people will like that?
Excellent service. Attentive and friendly.
Came here for brunch.
We had such an amazing time at Frank’s last night. Superb from the food, bubbly and ambience… two happy diners here and we will definitely come back xo
A little off the beaten path is this neighborhood gem with quality cocktails, a notable wine list, and some tasty dishes. While the oysters are always a good choice, we also enjoyed the bib lettuce salad, pork belly, and the fried chicken. 👌
First of all, they may have the best fried chicken in Seattle. It's boneless, and portion size isn't huge but it is juicy with crispy skin. For oysters you have your choice of raw, baked or fried. Can't go wrong either way there. Another shock is that the burger is really good. At an oyster house, who knew. I only reason I'm not going 5 stars is that it is a little on the pricey side given the minimum decor. So I would say its more like 4.5 stars.
I have been eyeing this restaurant since I moved into the neighborhood a little over a year ago, and finally had the chance to eat here for my birthday. Everything was as good or better than I anticipated. We had the deviled eggs, mini lobster rolls, fried chicken and waffles, macaroni and cheese, and banana split. The deviled aggs were good, the lobster rolls would have been easier to eat if the lobster could be more stuffed inside the roll but were so tasty I wouldn't mind liking what dropped out of the roll off the plate, the fried chicken is heaven, the waffles were perfectly done and the fois gras butter and bourbon maple syrup with amazing, the macaroni and cheese was delicious, and the banana split was better than I could have ever imagined with the amarena cherry whip, bruleed bananas, and chocolate and caramel.... service was prompt, friendly, and they did not rush us through our meal or out the door when we finish eating. It was a delightful experience, and I hope to be back soon!
this is just a review of the cheeseburger, to go. an excellent meat experience, asked medium rare, probably got on the way to rare but i’m fine with that. substantive patty. good meat taste, though not much added spice (also fine). did not like the pickled onions and other toppings. i would prefer fresh onion, and simpler, which means i won’t likely re-purchase. but that might just be me..
Really good oyster, had ordered the baked oyster bingo, very tasty. The two main dishes were okay, not quite as impressive, so was the cocktail.
