The restaurant itself was very clean and decorated nicely. The buffet looked amazing but we decided to order off the menu. We had pineapple fried rice w/tofu and a bean thread noodle w/vegetables and tofu dish. The food was beautifully prepared and delicious! I cant wait to go back.

Amazing vegan Thai food and I highly recommend!! The place has a great vibe, with chill music, decorations, and art. We went for lunch and I think this may turn more lively with a bar at night. The food itself was amazing. Everything was great. We got the lunch set which was gigantic proportion of red curry, noodles, salad with tofu, 2 spring rolls, red bean dessert, and rice. We also got the cashew curry, which also tastes great. The spicy paste and chili flakes in oil definitely added the right kick and flavor. The Thai iced tea was great too. The lunch set combo is def well worth the price and I can't to go back again. The service was fast, and checking in on us, and being responsive.

Araya's place is a very good place to eat. Before becoming vegan I really enjoyed Thai food. Today was my first time having it since going 100% plant based. This place is 100% vegan, and it was great! I'm grateful that it exists and I will return on my next trip to Seattle. I enjoyed a curried noodle dish (can't remember the name - sorry - but I've attached a pic). Again, I will attend again.

Delicious food in a casual but nice setting. I got the Thai Tea with Ice Cream, Pad See Ew noodles, and How Mok curry. All were good. I recommend mixing the drink to form a milkshake ;)

I came to Araya’s a couple of times already. From my recent visit, I just had a light meal. I ordered pad Thai, Thai iced tea and thai lime iced tea. Unlike my previous visits, usually my husband and I had a couple of dishes. Among many dishes, my favourite are brussel sprouts and pineapple curry. Very good atmosphere, friendly staff and clean washroom. It’s kind a hard to get parking if you come at the very peak hour because Araya’s surrounded by many restaurants too. If you haven’t tried Thai food, or you want a vegan options, Araya’s is the one you’re looking for. YouTube (Araya’s Place)👇🏼 https://youtu.be/mXdfCT1CTDU?si=q-mAaCuvE5qKJ48O

The lunch special is the true gem of Araya's Place. This vegan restaurant prides itself in healthy Thai vegan offerings that can convince a ravenous carnivore to forego their meat-based diet for one that is just as tasty. I had their panang curry with pad thai, which is both delicate and delicious. The coconut milk mixed with the spice of the curry is incredible. The pad thai has a zing that perfectly balances with the peanuts atop it. Finally, I love their red bean pudding. I can't wait to return. Oh, they also have a full-service bar if you're into cocktails. :)

One of the best meals of my life so far! The service was quick, and the food was hot and full of flavor. This place fed my heart and soul.

They have discontinued the lunch buffet. They do have a lunch special which I ordered. They don't allow dine-in after 2pm even though they close at 3pm, something to keep in mind. The salad is good. The sauce complements the tofu and greens nicely. The spring rolls were solid too. Pad Thai was slightly sweeter, but overall good. The curry had muted flavors compared to other Thai restaurants and wasn't spicy at all. In addition the vegetables were cut large making it inefficient to eat. The tofu was very soft and the curry tasted okay with rice. The rice pudding was a new dessert for me and I wasn't a big fan of it. The lunch special has a very generous portion size! I'd come back again to try their drunken noodles and stir fry.

The food is exquisite, we have come multiple times and each time the food is delicious. The truth is that every time we come here we don't have any complaints (well, 😬 this time the beer was warm but they changed it for a Mango mojito which was very, very good.) After coming here many times, everything has been amazing, the customer service is very good, they are very attentive and friendly. 👍🏼👍🏼 honestly, all the food is just great, I love the soups.

TLDR: Good food but nothing too special, friendly service, bit pricey. I heard alot of positive reviews about this spot, including some “it’s the best Thai in Seattle,” so I decided to give it a shot. We (party of three) walked in about 5pm on Easter Sunday and were immediately seated. Same-day reservations are not allowed. The restaurant had just two tables seated; however, as we ate, more and more people filed in. Our waitress was quite friendly. Not sure why some other reviews mentioned terrible service. We ordered a Thai Iced Tea w/ Coconut Milk, Pineapple Curry (spice level 3), Araya’s Noodle Soup (3), and a Bangkok Cafe Bathing Rama (2). The food was served soon after we ordered. The tea was fine; the coconut milk came in strong, almost overpowering the tea, and it was not too creamy. An alternative would be soybean cream (milk?). The curry was flavorful and had three types of tofu. There was a bean curd, a spongey tofu, and your run-of-the-mill diced tofu. Pineapple cubes were present but not many. The curry itself did not have much pineapple taste to it. The noodle soup was essentially a Tom Yum soup with flat rice noodles added. It was quite sour and the carrots were undercooked, but otherwise it was quite tasty. The Rama was essentially a pile of vegetables and tofu smothered with a peanut sauce. The sauce was nutty, sweet, and creamy; delicious. I wouldn’t call it a stir-fry though. The vegetables were pretty plain and clearly just cooked in water. Only the curry came with a bowl of rice; I expected some with the Rama but had to add a bowl. None of the dishes were really spicy, but that’s extremely subjective so do as you wish with that. Given my past experience with vegan food, I was expecting something specialized; instead, all the dishes we ordered (and on the menu, from what I could see) were just plain-vegetable based. Thus, for the price, it was not all too worth it in my opinion. It was still good though. Closing thoughts: it’s definitely good Thai food, though I’ve had better (non-Vegan). I wouldn’t necessarily return or go out of my way to visit again but it’s worth a try.

Ate here with a friend I had not seemed in over six months. Back then, he was recovering from a tough time but had optimistic vision of a rosy future in store for him. Well, looks like he was right. He's doing very well, and he's very happy. I am happy for him. I am. But there is something that made me feel distant or adrift or uneasy while we talked. He's overcome quite something and is full of an enthusiasm I feel myself feeling less of. Oh well, that's another thing to sort out when I wake up in the middle night (too much coffee this afternoon). I took a couple of photos of the nice pens the server gave me to sign the bill. The pens were very smooth and I'd like to find the same ones and buy them
