Awesome staff food is sublime, definitely worth the trip to aquire. They are closed second week of December till January for an employee vacation, offer beer and cider 😉 will return to try their other offerings , the grinders though are 👌.

Wow! If I could give more stars, I would. The staff were excellent, the vibe inside was exquisite, the food was amazing, what else is there? A perfect hole in the wall lunch spot. Good value for the combo, only request would be more drink options.

If you are on Queen Anne, make this a stop! The staff is super friendly. Sandwiches were amazing! Even had a kids menu.

Since the demise of the Delicatessen Montanti food truck, Royal Grinders is my favorite sandwich in Seattle. I get the Italian Grinder with extra sauce and it’s just SO damn good. The shop gets very busy during lunch hours, so I recommend ordering 45-ish minutes ahead and picking up takeout. The estimates I’ve been given for pickup times have been accurate, and I’ve found that even when busy, they still make an excellent sando 💯💯💯

I have lived in the area for a couple years and haven't made it here until now and I am so happy I did. Easily some of the best hot sandwiches in the area. Order ahead for pickup as it takes them some time during busy hours because they make them with love.

We picked up sandwiches from her and took them to Golden Gardens for a beach day. The sandwich itself is very easy to eat and definitely recommend if you were planning on eating at another place since it was not messy at all.
I got the original fresh veggie sandwich. I was not expecting too much since I saw it was only veggies, but I was pleasantly surprised. The sauce itself made the sandwich very delicious and surprisingly savory and the pickles added a surprising crunch and worked well with the overall sandwich. Definitely recommend this sandwich.

This place is so good!
We visited Royal Grinders yesterday for the first time, we ordered a Chicken Pesto grinder and the Italian grinder. Both were tasty and filling.
The staff is also very friendly, the culture of the place is fun and welcoming.
Overall, I'm looking forward to going again soon.

I love this place! Lovely patio, smiling friendly employees, really clean kitchen you can see, fun signs, merch that supports the Humane Society, and really great sandwiches. It’s true, they’re not fast, but it’s fresh and these folks are hustling, the quality is much better than the places the focus on being really fast.

I just love this place so much and I am so happy for the reopening. My favorite sandwich is the barbecue chicken. If you want to try delicious panini, this is The One.

These sandwiches are awesome. I got the chicken pesto with everything except olives and my husband favor the teriyaki chicken with almost all toppings too. The sandwiches are huge and I saved the last half for the hike we did later. They were hot and the flavors were on point. Highly recommend checking this place out!
