One of the better rooftop bars in Seattle! The views are amazing, especially with the floor to ceiling windows. There’s also an outdoor patio, but we were not seated there. The food was actually pretty tasty, with flavors that I hadn’t really tasted before. Even the seasoning on the fries was slightly different than what I’m used to - in a good way! Docking a star because it was relatively empty when we went and we got seated in the most secluded corner, the service was average, and we were missing an item that we ordered.

Awesome views are the highlight here, food and drinks are slightly above average but definitely overpriced. Service was great even though the place was full. We booked 5 days ahead of our visit and still had to wait 30 min to enter since our table wasn’t ready, very annoying. Worth for the views but other than that an average for overpriced place.

I loved visiting Mbar. The views are really cool, the atmosphere was really chill but chic at the same time. We ordered food from the menu and boy oh boy, we tried 3 appetizers, the muhammara, the street corn, and the cheese sticks, we loved them all, my favorite was the corn (picture posted); we also had the steak kebab and it was absolutely delicious, the meat was super tender and flavorful. About drinks, the cocktail I had was also quite yummy, but food gets me more excited than drinks so I don’t have much to tell about a variety of drinks. I already want to go back.

Great location, great Seattle view with water and the space needle. Drinks are great too. It offers both indoor and outdoor dinning options. Street parking is available. In Seattle culture most of the rooftop opens after 4 PM PST but this is the only best option for lunch time. Our server Jenny was the best she was so accommodative and serve us nicely.

Mbar is a great spot for a night out in Seattle. The food is good, the view is superb, and the cocktails are alright. The mezze platter was a highlight, with plenty of delicious hummus, baba ghanoush. The cocktails were a bit underwhelming, but they were still refreshing on a hot summer day. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was lively and fun. Overall, I would definitely recommend Mbar to anyone looking for a great place to eat, drink, and enjoy the view in Seattle.

Rooftop bar in SLU with a really great view and environment. We managed to get reservation on the day of the visit in the middle of the afternoon. If you want to go during busy time I definitely recommend booking ahead of time. The drinks are all quite nice but I felt they are pretty overpriced. Their most popular one is their purple pina colada. We also got the pink delight, sangria, and three girl rhumba. For food we got the dozen oysters and the shrimp ceviche. The oysters were on the small side but tasted okay. The rhubarb sauce is way too strong and completely masks the flavor of the oyster, which I really did not like. I quite enjoyed their shrimp ceviche since it came with lettuce to be used to wrap it. However my partner didn’t think it was salty or sour enough.

As my friends and I hunted for a dinner spot on a fine Tuesday evening, we stumbled upon this casual fancy rooftop venue. We took the elevator up to the dining area and were greeted by floor-to-ceiling windows that offered a spectacular view of the Seattle skyline, hills, and lake. Our group was seated comfortably under a space heater. After a few minutes, we got started with drinks. I got the ‘blonde on blonde’ while my friends got the ‘ramble on,’ ‘dance crasher,’ and ‘the chauffeur.’ My drink was boozy, just the way I like it, with a variety of flavors that blended together just right. For the rest of the meal, we had a variety of small and medium plates to share around the table. The first appetizer out was the mezze platter, with a sampling of shamandar, baba ganoush, hummus, and muhammara. The hummus and baba ganoush were rather ordinary, but the most interesting one had to be the shamandar with its unique combination of flavors. However, the muhammara was a close second, adding a spicy depth to complement the sweeter shamandar. The next dish was the green pea falafel, once again, quite average but still a staple for the meal. That was followed up with the harra frites, made to perfection and served with two dips. The fried cauliflower was greatly anticipated by the group and lived up to the hype. An unusual combination of blueberry and savory sauce, the slightly under-fried cauliflower was certainly a treat. Lastly, we tried the halloumi cheese. We came to a consensus that the cheese tasted “squeaky” and there was no better way to describe this dish than that. To wrap up the meal, we tried all 4 dessert dishes. In order of most favorite to least favorite: Levantine Chocolate Cake, Knafeh, Baklawa, and Mouhallabia. The chocolate cake was unbeatable. The knafeh was akin to a cheesecake, and the jam on top added a different sour flavor to a sweet dessert. The baklawa was pretty good, nothing much to say there. No complaints about the service, and the food came out pretty quickly. Overall, had a great experience dining at mbar, it is worth trying once.

This place was amazing. The staff was great, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. We went for lunch on a sunny day and it was so breezy with a great view and so relaxing. I will say, it's a bit pricey but nothing disappointed. 10/10 recommend. We made a reservation and they got us in early. But I heard it's hard to get in without the reservation later in the day!

A cool roof top bar in the SLU area to have happy hour after work. Located on the 14th floor, the view of the sound is amazing and you can see the Space Needle at certain tables. Appetizers and happy hour items were just okay. Food I came here with my coworkers so we got lots of items to share with the table. The Harra fries were okay. I like that they were the small, skinny kind. Feta and olives were okay as well and were just good to munch on. I ordered the scallops over saffron risotto for myself and considered this the best dish that we had. The scallops were juicy and nicely seared. The presentation on it was nice too. I also ordered a peach m-claw but it was just alright. My coworker ordered the pan seared halibut with pickled fiddlesticks and he said that he liked it! Atmosphere If you come to M-bar then you are really coming here for the views of the South Lake Union area and cityscape. You can even see the Space Needle from here. Nice casual spot to come and hang out. Pricing Prices were more than what I expected for the food and drinks but reasonable given the views and atmosphere you are getting. Service Service was really good and the staff was friendly. Food and drinks came out fast. Other The views are really great! Located in SLU so not a lot of parking on the street.
