Knows exactly how to make delicous drinks, gave good recommendations and service I ordered the oxtail stew with a side of rice and peas Cocktails: - peach me im dreamin: very fruity and delicious not super strong but gives a cute little buz -The pink drink is not on the menu(it should be!) now this was the perfect drink for me strong and delicious, and by strong i mean it’s giving max tipsy point. This place was such a wonderful surprise. We loved it. The hush puppies were sweet and fluffy, the cornmeal breading on the catfish was light and crisp, and the collard greens were so damn good. Okok, now let's talk about the habanaro shrimp and those curried mussels. Both dishes, the sauce, chef's kiss 🤌. My only regret is not ordering some rice to go with them. Our server's name was Malcolm, and he was great! He was knowledgeable about the menu. When we asked for something, he was super fast (even though they were crazy busy), and he was very professional. Can't wait to go back!

The owner at Arleana in Kirkland told me about this place. It was delicious! Atmosphere was great, service was friendly. I have to say the catfish and collard greens were the best I have had! We ordered bacon Mac and cheese, tostones (a little bland), Catfish po-boy and coconut cake. I wish this place was closer to Kirkland.

Came across this restaurant in passing by... was not disappointed but rather delighted that we did. The service, food and cocktails were really good. We had the fried catfish with season greens and smashed sweet potatoes. In addition, the jerk chicken wings were good but really spicy. Lastly, the cocktails were outstanding. You gotta have the peach me I'm dreaming, you'll love it!

Amazing food, lively atmosphere, attentive service. I was blown away by the curry goat, oxtail, plantains, coconut muffins, and sorrel tea. Can't wait to try every single thing on the menu. Was also impressed by the care they took to provide high quality takeout containers, separated by item. Many times restaurants just give you a flimsy box in which you must dump all your leftovers. So I was able to enjoy my leftovers for a few more days at home. Really appreciated that, ty

The food was so delicious. I didn’t try the goat curry but everything was so flavorful. The vatapa was somewhat a risk for me to get because it could have tasted like anything, and it was such a hit honestly. I’m from the Caribbean but have never heard of this dish. My friends unfortunately didn’t like the food, I literally don’t see why, but it was so so good! Will definitely be back and recommend. There’s a bit of a wait so make sure you do a reservation or be ready to wait!

Absolutely off the chain...great service, the food is authentic prepared by an actual Jamaican chef, popping with flavor, fresh tasting and cooked to perfection! Everything made my mouth happy. My entire party of 6 was delighted with what we all ordered. And it's family-owned and local. Five stars all the way around! The Soul n a Bowl for 2 is the perfect choice to get some of all the main favorites (including Oxtails, Curried Goat, Jerk Chicken, Shrimp n Grits and more!

I had the pleasure of having dinner here with friends. We arrived around 6 and didn’t have to wait to be seated. The server was great! She made suggestions and answered all of our questions. Four of us had appetizers, drinks and a main entree. One guest in my party her food arrived cold (oxtails). Our server handled it pretty quickly. I had a Paloma, mojito, catfish with Mac & cheese. My food was delicious and didn’t have any issues. The vibe is pretty upbeat, music playing, TVs on at the bar and outdoor covered seating.

This place is so good! You may end up waiting for a bit but it's worth it. The muscles are in a robust and vibrant curry sauce, are wonderful! I would buy just the sauce in a jar if I could. I love the greens and they're vegan too. Ginger beer is good and house made. A little too sweet (for me) but I'd at least try it out. Fried plantains are excellent as well as the hush puppies. Honestly everything here is really good and I can't really complain.
