Long story, short, we stumbled upon Damn The Weather, by design and I’m so glad we did!
Full Disclosure: We live on the Eastside, we come to the “city” once a month for a standing reservation to get our hair done (more on the secret later, and back to this review). The minute we walked in, we knew we hit a home run and I can’t believe we didn’t find this place a lot earlier, like almost 10 years ago! Seriously? 🙄🙈
Connor (z’bartender) was 100% amazing and made the Chef (omg, the nicest person on the planet) who came out from the kitchen to give us recipe some recipe tips. Crazy awesome, right?
A second “wow,” were the guests that also bellied up to the bar! I can honestly say, we were are all respectful listening and talking amongst each other (no politics). We conversed, we heard each other and it didn’t matter if you were visiting from out of town, or to having to be somewhere locally, this was an amazing experience it never slowed anyone down.
Damn The Weather made me fall back back in love with Seattle. Thank you! 🙏
So let’s get down to the Nitty Gritty and talk shop about Damn The Weather ☔️
Our Order, in order.
1. Hibiscus Margaritas.
2. Cracker Jax.
3. Burger and Fries.
4. Brownie and Homemade Ice Cream.
5. Not included: Fork Lyft.
The photos say it all. All house made down to the cracker jacks, sesame seed bun, hand cut fries, ice cream … you’re probably drooling by now as I am reminiscing about our experience.
Don’t take my word for it and run, don’t walk to Damn The Weather … you will definitely thank me later.

Lived Damn the Weather! Had fabulous cocktails, a wonderful meal and our waitress was great. I loved the decor. (My husband even asked about the origin of the restaurant's name. See if your server knows.) We'll definitely be going back!
Came here for drinks and appetizers. The inside was so cute and quaint and the lighting was dim and perfect. Good atmosphere for sure. We got the cheese plate which was delicious. We also got the fries which my picture turned out blurry but they were decent with a great aïoli dipping sauce. We also got the cracker jacks which was a nice sweet bite. The drinks were ok felt like they were pretty weak especially after having 3 and didn't feel like I had much of a buzz which is rare for me. Overall the service was decent and no complaints there.
This establishment is an exceptional choice for enjoying a solitary dining experience at the bar. Numerous individuals were seen indulging in this delightful practice. Surprisingly, the venue was not crowded on a Tuesday, allowing for a serene and relaxed atmosphere. The Halibut and bean salad surpassed expectations with its exceptional flavor, albeit a slightly higher quantity of sea beans would have elevated it further. The beer selection proved to be of high quality and complemented the cuisine perfectly. As for the signature cocktails, they were decent, but did not quite reach the level of excellence I had anticipated.
Everything we ordered was great, I have to recommend the lamb heart (I know...trust me, it was absolutely amazing). Portions are not big but filling.
Service was good. Drinks were delicious. We will go back!
Damn The Weather is a nice little spot that seems a tad bit classier than most other bars in the area, but with prices that are still reasonable for Seattle. Plus they’ve got a clever name and who doesn’t like that? I recommend their ‘Heaven or Las Vegas’ cocktail if you like the lighter and refreshing gin and elderflower combination.
Absolutely the best sandwich I've ever had. The muffaletta was out of this world. The kale salad accompanied it and it was stellar as well. The pickled onions matched it well. Happy we stopped while we were visiting
A true gastronomic adventure. Great food. Fantastic cocktails. Fabulous staff.
Perfect spot to stop for lunch away from the crowds a few blocks over. We enjoyed the burger, chicken sandwich and charcuterie board. All were excellent. Service was attentive but not over bearing.
Food was probably 4.5. We
loved the chicken sandwich and kale salad. Aioli with fries was not impressive, bun with chicken could also be upgraded...good overall. Burger was good, but not amazing.
