Wonderful products and NOT OVERRATED!. Top pot doughnuts sells their products to starbuck, why? QUALITY! love it here! no better doughnuts around!
Brisk Fall walk, Hot Chai Tea, Doughnuts. I ducked in here real quick to try some of Top Pot's doughnuts. They were pretty good! I got an espresso kind of doughnut which had a very good flavor to it! I bought Steve a double chocolate doughnut and it was tasty as well. I bought a hot Chai Tea and was out to dash back to my car before the two hour limit was up. The tea kept me nice and warm on the brisk Autumn walk back to the car. I would come back here and relax more but finding a parking space is very difficult in this area.
Cinnamon sugar donut was great. Nice clean relaxing place. Will go back for sure. A friend from Seattle recommended it because he was having a craving and I am glad he was.
Best coffee I. The coffee I had here (tall double nonfat mocha) was the best coffee I had in Seattle during the week I was here. I also had a sour cream donut and a sweet roll. I was a bit put off because they refused to heat my roll, but I forgive them because of the wonderful coffee :)
Doughnut Heaven. While the coffee is pretty good, it is the doughnuts to write home about! Consider it a requirement - to grab a fistful of doughnuts to go with your coffee. I think the doughnuts being served in heaven will come from Top Pot. ;)
This place is so quaint and inviting, and with a perfect location. They close a bit early for me, and the good doughnuts go early.
Tucked in down a residential street in Capitol Hill, Top Pot is a bit tricky to find if you are from out of town and don't know where to look. But it is worth it, as the ambiance and mix of people is as wonderful as the doughnuts.
Come to think of it, I may not be kewl enough to hang at Top Pot.
The doughnuts are amazing, the coffee is fantastic ( try the Ovaltine latte), the service is friendly and the space is cozy. The only down sides are trying to choose just one doughnut and finding a place to sit among all the Mac toting Hipsters camped out all day.
Homer Simpson would be proud.. Only sad part is having to choose just one (or two). Raspberry cruller was great! And so was my iced mocha.

Yay!. Excellent fritters, massive doughnuts, and all of it oh-so-yummy.
Some say this is the best donuts in town. Come before 10 am if you want to have good selection of donuts, as they are selling fast. Coffee is nice, and I like the area. Bring cash or actual credit card to pay, as they don’t accept e-cards (Apple pay etc).
These donuts were probably the best we had in Seattle, killer cappuccinos too. We were in town in January and that donut/cappuccino combination was the perfect thing for a misty morning.
You can’t go wrong at Top Pot!! I stopped in it a quick latte & apple fritter and it was absolutely perfect. Great atmosphere, quick service, perfect location with plenty of street parking. I feel like the other locations always run out of donut options pretty quickly, or they aren’t quite as fresh... This place on this day had a TON and they all looked amazing. There was a line to the door when I walked in, and lots of people sitting using the Wi-Fi, but my coffee came out really quickly, it was great!
These donuts are truly incredible. I sincerely enjoy the summit location which is shaded and in a beautiful setting. The coffee shop itself has tall, dark bookshelves along the walls and the service is lovely. Top pot makes a very hearty maple bar, my fav. I haven’t seen a larger one anywhere else. In its largeness, it is also formidable without being heavy or cake like, it truly is donut mastery. I haven’t tried the other donuts because I can’t not get the maple bar. I also love the coffee they serve there, a rich Italian like roast with lots of body to match the great flavor of the baked goods.
Wonderful, quiet space to read or work, with good service and excellent coffee and doughnuts. I'm from Cincinnati. Every time I visit Seattle I hang out here at least one long, wonderful morning. I let myself eat a doughnut (Or two). Visited Seattle again last week and spent two long wonderful mornings working at Top Pot. Quiet, delicious, friendly, gorgeous, relaxing. I don't want to leave. Are there apartments above this place?
Friends are visiting from Bay Area, Top Pot is one of his request stops. I got blue berry cinnamon and maple. Cinnamon was sweet but not too sweet, donut was still soft not hard but not fresh if u come in the morning. I still like my maple donut! The staff was friendly and helpful.
Favorite coffee shop in Seattle! All of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Ian and Tyler are super stars that make the perfect mocha. Would give them a higher than five star rating if I could. 💖
I walked in the rain to Top Pot to buy 3x dozen donuts for my office. They have eliminated carry bags for donuts so only people with cars can buy dozens now. I settled for just a donut and coffee for myself. Good coffee and donut, but they saved $0.20 to lose $70 in sales. Go figure.
The antithesis of coffee snobbery, this place has been one of our favorites since we were teenagers. Super fun, friendly and welcoming, and the best donuts in town. So good, Starbucks actually used to serve Top Pot donuts! Be prepared for humor!
I always liked their doughnuts. We tried the chocolate bar which was pretty good. We also got the plain glazed which is a classic and also my safe order. I tried the maple frosted which was pretty good as well but the least favorite of mine among the three. They do have a lot more variety and I like the coffee as well. The store has a nice vibe with super great service.
