We went here for our anniversary dinner on a Sunday, due to sudden change of plans and no reservations available anywhere else. We were lucky to find this place as its so cute and has great vegetarian and meat options for both me(veggie) and hubby. As soon I saw fresh pressed orange juice on the menu, I had to get it and vouch that it is freshest juice you will find in the city. I also enjoyed the vegetarian gnocchi and the potato leek soup.

Did a search for great brunch spots in Seattle. This place was located in the Capital Hill district and did not disappoint. The coffee was just ok when compared to all the amazing local coffee shops around town. But the croissant was so delicious and the omelet was a great recommendation from the waiter.

Delicious casual French dining. This place has been on my list for a while, and I'm so sad they are closing soon because now I wish I had more chances to come here!! The frites for the steak and frites were perfection (goes great with mayo too), and the steak was flavorful and chewy (medium rare pictured). The onion soup had croutons soaked in their traditional onion soup and it was suuper cheesy. Came with complimentary baguette, and I swear I could eat a whole baguette just with the butter. Great service to top it all off. So glad I got to try this place, now I want to try Le Pichet (same owner) too!

Café Presse is a great all day cafe with good food and wine options. Nice selection of cheese as well. They always have games on, so it’s the perfect spot to chill and watch games with your mates over a nice glass of rose. One of the few places to also offer a 4.oz wine glass, handy to try a few wines when you’re not sure which one you’d like. One negative is that the non-alcoholic bevies are quite overpriced. But c’est la vie!

This is a great french cafe with coffee from cafe Vita. The croque madame was delicious and other items looked great. They also include the service charge in the bill so tipping isn't necessary. I would fully recommend and plan to return!

First time having a Croque Madame and I fell in love. Hope my future ones are just a great as this one. Also had a latte and a hot chocolate. Both pretty good! The hot chocolate was very thick - might not be for everyone.

There you find a genuine bit of the French feel in the place. Simple yet attentiveness to detail. In our case, after a few smaller dishes, we had the roasted chicken for two. This (and they tell you) takes about an hour for them to prepare You sit with your cold meats, pates and bottle of wine until you are each (the two of us) presented with a delightful half chicken with a small mountain of French fries and condiments. The skin of the bird was beautifully crisped and seasoned and the chicken itself was moist and more than just a chicken. It’s my idea of great cuisine. Take everyday simple and raise it to something special. By the time you get the food you are well ready for it and it’s memorable. The staff that serves the food makes you feel welcome and the addition of the tip in the bill was well earned.

A very cute French style Cafe, located in Capitol hill. I got the chicken liver terrine baguette sandwich and my girlfriend got the bacon salad. The chicken liver pate was amazing! Very rich and smooth. The sandwich was also enormous for the price

Cafe Presse is the perfect cafe. It has breakfast, lunch and dinner food all the time, some casual some fancy some snacky. If you just want chocolate and champagne you can do it. If you want salad and wine - you can do it. If you want full on dinner- you got it. You can come dressed up or down and you will be happy. Finally it's open until 2am! Serving food and beverage the whole time. Last but not least the food is good - total European cafe style. Highly recommend for locals and visitors to Seattle.

An understandably sought after gem of Seattle, Cafe Presse is the place to be if you want a chic French atmosphere with a perfect European disposition. The bar staff were eager to help me try something new in the realm of hard hot coffee drinks and they delivered memorably. The food is savory, fully flavored and vividly satisfying no matter what you try (I had the salmon, it had to be one of the most tender/melt in your mouth delicious filets I have experienced). To finish our meal we picked from a decent selection of Gins and ordered their house-made maple and cherry ice cream scoops. I am glad I do not have a carton of these flavors at home, they would be gone in an unhealthy amount of time. The portions were perfect and the pricing as expected for Seattle if not slightly competitive by being on the lower end with some items. Most of all I appreciated watching the Sounders Game here and how accommodating they were in meeting my request to be able to see it. From being seated, to being served and made to feel almost at home (they do not rush you in or out of Cafe Presse) I can see why Cafe Presse is consistently a top rated restaurant among Seattle's best offerings. I also enjoyed meeting the site owners who have a very kind and stalwart atmosphere about them. It is obvious that they are passionate about their work and how you should experience it. What they have created has taken me back to those little spots in Paris and southern France I adored and miss most of all. I look forward to returning soon (I want to try the large cooked chicken dinner for two!). They are also open late, yes, we like that!
