Tasty ice cream and nice staffs. They let you try their ice cream before you decide which flavor to get. I usually utilize this chance to try their newest flavors. However, my all time favorite is olive oil. It might sound intimidating, but if you’re a vanilla flavor kind of person, you won’t be disappointed by it. The staffs are always nice and welcoming, and they always make my experience at Salt & Straw better.

That lavender ice cream is amazing. Brownie is also delicious. Beware of no parking and long lines on weekends. Seasonal flavors are weird but unique! Definitely try it out

We love salt and straw! Tonight was our second time ever and first to this location. We enjoyed a double scoop with the Thanksgiving Roll flavor and the Salted Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. What a pairing! It was amazing. The scoops are pricey but huge. Love that they don't cut corners with their scoops. The ice cream was the perfect temperature. Not too icy and not melting. I love the creaminess of their ice cream. By far some of the creamiest I have had. We sat inside the shops where there was plenty of seating and standing room to enjoy your scoop. The scoopers let us try a few flavors which was really nice and it was an easy process. Everyone was nice behind the counter as well.

I have taken multiple day long expeditions JUST for the ice cream from this location. In the heart of Capitol Hill, surrounded by Seattle culture, you can't help but make that sacrifice. Especially for incredible ice cream. Their monthly concoctions are a must to indulge in. While some of the ingredients and flavors are questionable at first, they always turn out to be delicious. I'm always excited about new flavor announcements to see what they come up with next. The texture of their ice creams and sorbets are luxurious (how is their sorbet so creamy and never icy)! The mix-ins provide a great textural aspect and are never soggy, stale, or fade into the background. The staff at this location are pleasant even when it's busy. You never feel looked over or rushed through the line. It is one of the best ice cream parlors overall in Seattle.

Awesome ice cream! smooth, creamy and very tasty. Plenty of big chunks of brownie in the chocolate brownie variety. Generally has a pretty long queue but they do get through orders in reasonable time. Very generous scoops! Recommend 🤙🏼

Amazing ice cream! I went both days I was in Seattle. Interesting flavors and they allow you to try them. Fresh waffle cones are delicious.

I've been to salt and straw multiple times in multiple locations. Every time I'm like what the heck are these crazy flavors. But they always deliver. This time it was with chocolate potato salad and cinnamon fried chicken. All amazing.

Oh. My. Gosh. This ice cream is over the top delicious. Super creative and fun flavors, in addition to some classics. If not the best ice cream we've ever had, then certainly at least tied for the best, and we are pretty big ice cream fans. Fun to see new seasonal flavors, too. And they sample on metal spoons so no plastic waste there. AMAZING! Very, very highly recommend.

In the battle for best ice cream in Seattle, Salt and Straw has the lead in my book. Creamy, delicious ice cream served at the right edge of deliciousness. Don't mind the cue as the servers are very efficient and friendly. Flavors are fresh, and the store has a better variety than the other famous local brand. I'll definitely be visiting again.

Great ice-cream and the serving per scoop is huge! Stick to a single scoop per person and it’ll be ok. There’s quite a few flavors to choose from and there’s also new ones every now and then. Plenty of space to eat inside and there’s also benches outside which is lovely in the evening.
