We came here for brunch on a Sunday. The place was busy with fast service. I got the pancakes which were fluffy and delicious . I liked it. My wife got the 2 egg combo with links and it came with hash browns. I liked the links and the omelette was okay. Over all this place is open till late and has great service.

The food was good here, but the wait staff really seem to be overworked. Our waitress was doing everything she could to take orders, and serve food, but she was doing it by herself. Seating was at a premium and several people that came in right after us had to wait quite a while. We were staying at the Mediterranean inn and it was a short walk to the café from there. The neighborhood around the restaurant was somewhat depressed, and it seemed a bit dirty outside. Even though the waitress was extremely busy, we got good service. Our food came out in good time from when we ordered and the orders were correct. If we were to stay in the area again, I’m not sure that we that we would eat there again.

2 for Breakfast. Please notice this restaurant is in "Seattle Washington". ABSOLUTELY the best breakfast we have EVER had! Our server was Ash, she was pleasant, friendly, professional and informative. Thank you! 1- The Mercer Mess and oh wow! Soooo good.1-Roasted pepper omelet, hell yes this was the BEST. Good coffee and good atmosphere. We also stopped in for a dinner. They make homemade cream cheese & bacon stuffed jalapenos. They are huge! And tasty. 1- Mecca double cheeseburger w/tater tots. Enjoyed it. 1- open faced turkey sandwich w/ mashed potatoes. Good and filling.

Established in 1929 this place is a trip back in time. But if you want a home cooked meal, this is the place to come too. They serve all three meals so you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. And just a shor walk for our Hotel The Mediterranean.

I had Custard French toast. The food taste was really great although I waited little bit until the server became available. I really liked the food so I went back again within the same week and had same menu again. The second time was really weird. A walk in customer wasn’t happy and the staff was too. So there was a small augment and the customer left with unhappy before seating. Then, another customer came but he also left before ordering. It was just weird. The restaurant wasn’t busy at that time but I probably waited my meal for half hour. (I felt like the server forgot to place the order to kitchen.) The food was good, but I don’t recommend if you don’t have time and willing to wait. I feel like customers need to make the staff feel good otherwise they are not happy.

If you don’t like dive restaurants, this is not for you. The service is not great, but the food was surprisingly good. This is the place for you if you want to have a lonely and unbothered weekday lunch, not for a family or friends Sunday brunch.

Absolutely my favorite diner/bar. The food is phenomenal and the divey diner atmosphere feels like home. I would go here every day if I could. The chicken fried steak with the chorizo corn gravy is my go-to. Be warned, it is on the spicy side. 10/10 i love this place.

Food was very good and in a great location. One customer, Del, has his own chair, available to him only 24/7. He has his own special mug and special price of $1. He comes in 2 times a day and has 2 beers and has been doing this for many decades. Check it out, pretty cool story and I'm told he doesn't like to be bothered.
