Really nice fusion restaurant. Atmosphere is good. Need to know which dishes to chose from (some were hits and some were misses)

Short rib steak and galbi burger were the stars of the show. It’s a shame the mackerel and black cod were not available.

Son and DIL recommended we eat here and we really enjoyed it. Good choices for vegans, quick service, and beautiful presentations. Parking is a challenge due to the construction.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the waitress we had. I really like how personable she was and explaining in detail about the food and drinks we had ordered. The 2 dishes out of the 5, I felt deserved to be recognized was the scallion pancakes and the King Salmon. Those were really good. My only complaint would be was the salmon dish, I wish there was a bed of rice or polenta that could capture all of the sauces and flavors of this dish. Since it was really good and had unique/fun flavors. I would personally have added a lil salt to it. Overall the salmon dish was really good. The other 3 dishes were ok in my opinion. I would suggest trying the Flip of Coin drink it’s fun. It has Thai curry in it so it was really unique to taste curry in my cocktail.

The food here is absolutely incredible! We ordered 7 plates and 2 desserts for two people; this was definitely pushing it in terms of the sheer amount ordered, but once there I wanted to try everything. Every dish was amazing, but my favorites were the smoked tofu, the mackerel, and the watermelon salad. (Please forgive my terrible pictures, in more than one I forgot to take a picture until we'd already eaten half.)

Visited in Aug 2023 One of the best Asian fusion places I’ve been to. Amazing restaurant where every dish will give you a unique taste/flavour. My favourite dishes were: 1. Spicy Rice Cake 2. Bavette 3. Kombu Cured Mackerel Among the dessert items both the items we ordered (Joule Box, Sujungkwa Flan) were good. Service is good. A 100% recommendation for Seattle residents and visitors.

Truly a delight as far as culinary experiences go! The food here is really quite amazing and incredibly flavorful! I’ve had such a long week of eating so much East Asian food that I almost cancelled this reservation but Joule really is doing something special with Korean flavors! The spicy rice cake (veggie version) was absolutely spectacular as were the scallion pancakes. The lychee sponge cake is also a much try! We ordered vegetarian versions of quite a few dishes and none of them disappointed one bit! The restaurant itself was a fairly noisy and loud from the music and the clanging of pots form the open kitchen – this is typically a much bigger deal to me than most people though.. but the amount you hear is also affected by the table you’re at!

We had a reservation for a Wednesday evening at 5:30 and were one of the only people in there- I love that but if that's not your jam, it gets a lot busier later in the evening. Our service was exceptional, the waiter gave us plenty of recommendations, our water was frequently filled, and food came out quickly but not too quickly that our dishes felt rushed. We ordered the rice cakes with chorizo and they were perfection- if you are thinking about them but aren't sure, just do it! The scallops had a really flavorful sauce underneath and they had an perfect crust on one side and a beautiful tender inside. My boyfriend loves steak so we ordered the grass fed rib eye. I am not the hugest red meat girl and this was still a phenomenal dish. The whole peanuts complement the flavors well and the mint leaves helped cool down my mouth from those Thai chilis! Please note that I am not a fan of spicy food but this way still phenomenal! The vibe inside is really cute, they have a custom made wall paper, and if you are lucky enough to have a view of the kitchen you can see the chefs hard at work! Can't wait to go back!

Happened upon this restaurant on the Eater 38! I don’t rely much on Google when visiting such a tourist forward city, so always thankful of articles like that. This restaurant was outstanding!!! Dishes were vibrant and creative and seasoned so incredibly well. The wine list was creative and local and each wine we tried was delicious! Our server Madeline was attentive and thoughtful and even brought a birthday dessert when we were too full to order one. 10/10. Really really recommend the seam buns and rice cakes!

It's possibly the best meal I've had. It's the best part of Korean food mixed with other parts of the culinary world. Influences are everywhere in each dish but to dwell on them would be a disservice because it's a whole new thing. They have small, shareable plates. I recommend the beef tartar, Korean rice cake, and the short rib steak. 10/10 service and atmosphere.
