One of the jewels of Seattle dining is tucked away in the Eastlake district; Serafina. The menu features an amazing selection of Italian inspired entrees and appetizers. The bar is a frenetic show of amazing cocktails and beers. A little pricey but you get every penny's worth in the amazing dishes, drinks, and general atmosphere. This night I had the salmon plate followed with a sorbet dessert and a tawny port. Exquisite to say the least. On any given night Serafina can be rather busy, so I recommend making a reservation. Personally I enjoy sitting at the bar and watching the amazing show the busy staff put on; both servers and kitchen. Also, the bar staff - such as Randy or Claire - are incredibly knowledgeable and their suggestions have been spot on. While there are many dining choices in Seattle, Seafina is not to be missed. One of Seattle's true hidden dining treasures.
Very friendly service. Outdoor seating has its own magical atmosphere. Most of the dishes were phenomenal, small number were OK. Definitely a must visit establishment.
Always one of my family's favorite restaurants for special occasions. It's one of the few restaurants in Seattle where most people actually dress nicely. Service has always been great aside from the overused "how's everything tasting" question. And the food is consistently excellent. I really enjoyed the bucatini with prawns. And the large was enough for me for two meals! We were surprised that they no longer serve steak on their regular menu. My partner usually orders the steak and has really enjoyed it. Hopefully it will come back eventually!
