We went for our anniversary. It was all very tasty. We did the tasting menu, and decided to go for the additional steak, which was too much to eat. The appetizer course was probably enough food for the two of us. I loved the chicory salad and the barata with bread. The pumpkin soup came out in this tiny little bowl for a taster and it was great too. We were both pleasantly surprised with the execution of the squash. It was perfection. The gnocchi ragout was perfectly seasoned. I'd order it again if I was going ala carte. I liked the creme dessert with berries. It has a nice balance of texture. The canolli had a nice orange zest that made it fruity, which worked for me but my chocolate interested partner said not enough chocolate if that's what you're looking for. We were there to do a tasting menu so we arrived at 6:30 and left around 10:00 for the five courses. With the courses moving pretty quickly. Atmosphere is fancy. It's a good setting for a date night. And price reflects that. I wouldn't bring kids. There's a parking lot not far away but street parking is hard to get so come early and prepared to walk. The staff were so friendly and kind about everything. They paid close attention to allergies and preferences.

The roster of dishes we savored, including the fresh fruit salad, tomato salad, vegan/GF potato creation, Fritto Misto fried smelt, Cavatelli, and various eggplant preparations, was a medley of delights for the palate. The al fresco ambiance, amplified by the warmth of heat lamps and enchanting lighting, created an idyllic setting that enhanced our overall experience. Notably, Andrew demonstrated remarkable attentiveness to my wife's dietary needs, ensuring she received a delectable vegan dessert when my dessert arrived. I went here for my birthday and got the chefs table. Oh my GOD everything was amazing!! The craziest thing was out of every amazing thing we got my friend and I are still talking about the kale salad of all things. It was so insanely good. Everything was. I can't wait to come back! Definitely a little out of my usual price range but for special occasions, extremely worth it. Really excellent staff, amazing food, great timing between courses, and a very tasty tea. Edit: Came back for the price fix on Valentine's Day. Excellent service and great food. And they're great at making potatoes taste like marscapone. Looking forward to my next excuse to come by.

I came here with my friend and we were very happy with our meals! I was immediately impressed with the atmosphere and small details that give the restaurant a unique look. We started with the beets and focaccia bread, and both were delicious. I got the pappardelle with tripe and oxtail ragu (it was fantastic), and my friend got the agnolotti (also fanastic). The flavors worked beautifully together! There was a 20% service charge included, which was definitely worth it- and you can even add extra if you want! I would love to return someday!

Had a great experience at Carello’s! My boyfriend and I went here expecting a casual dinner but we both opted for the $75 5 course tasting menu. Amazing variety and quality in the menu and we even got to take leftovers home! It’s not often you find a place offering a tasting menu that feeds you way more than you can stomach! Great service and cocktails as well. Will definitely come again!
